Have been to the York on different occasions throughout the years and watched it change with it's renovations and what not. I find it to be a bit hot and cold, sometimes I go for a meal and quite enjoy myself and other times not so much. For a cheap meal out with young kids it's probably a good choice... there were so many kids running around the restaurant last time I went and they did have a clown entertaining them all in the corner. Being that I was there with just a friend it was quite loud and distracting. The food is generally of good quality but same thing - can be a bit hit and miss.
I love T2 stores and will always pop in if I am passing one whether it's to look for a new favourite tea or try a free sample. They have a large selection of different teas which are all available for you to at least smell. They also have some beautiful tea sets for sale and gift options.
I find the interior a bit dull in the dining area but the gallery areas are quite impressive and the perfect place to take some 'out of towners' if they were interested in purchasing a local gift. The food is always of high quality, last time we were there they did send our meals to another table so we were left waiting quite a while but nevertheless I would still recommend for a nice meal.
I have only ate here on a couple of occasions but do think it is a reasonable choice for a quick coffee or brunch. I ate the calamari they have there and it was absolutely delicious.
Comprehensive Dental Care have been our family dentist for as long as I can remember if not as long as I have been born! Dr Burke is an incredibly friendly & helpful man who always makes you feel at ease in the dentist chair. In my family we have had a range of dental work done, from braces to veneers and it has always been handled in the best of manners with quality results. The staff are all great and will send you reminders when you need to see them again.
I have been dining at this La Porchetta for years and years whether it be a quick family catch up or for birthday's with friends. There is a broad range of food available, my pick would be pizza or pasta. Great area in the back for larger groups - ideal for birthday situations. It is a double story building with dining up the top and takeaway down the bottom. This La Porchetta is always a safe bet for cheap quality food and I would recommend to anyone wanting a night out without the expensive cheque.
Approximate cost: $10-20
This isn't generally the first place I go to order pizza but that is based on location and convenience. The few times I have had Sampe's while at friend's houses in the area it has been throroughly enjoyed! They have a great range of toppings and are generally quick with their orders. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good pizza in the area.
I have used Body Language on many occasions and have always found the staff to be very welcoming and helpful whether it is picking out new jewelery for a piercing or discussing tattoos and after care. They have a wide range of jewelery and experienced tattoo artists and the place is always very clean.
The food generally is quite good, pretty typical pub menu but a little bit pricey. I would recommend it to older groups over families attending with young kids.
Always have a fresh and broad range of meat products. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and will quite often give you suggestions for their products which is great.
