Noisy salon. Proprietess talked incessently. Did not listen to what I needed. When I complained that the result was not satisfactory (an overprocessed perm) I was told it was because my hair was too long. Whether this was right or wrong (and it was wrong, my hair is not too long at all) it should have been discussed before the service was agreed to. When I originally enquired about the price by phone, I was quoted $30 less than what I was charged. This salon has won awards and therefore must have pleased many. I was disappointed and am now needing to go elsewhere and spend time and money to try to minimise the damage they did to my hair. I am sorry to give a negative review. They have many good ones.

Had a dreadful expereince at another salon and was referred to Sleek Hair Design by a satisfied customer. What a find. What a lot of trouble the salon owner, Mary Ann went to to look after me. If you are looking for someone who listens and knows what she's doing, go there.

Purchased foodstuffs - antipasto, tomato paste, cheese, oil, balsamic vinegar. Looked around until I found what I wanted. Salesperson attentive and friendly. Let me go at my own pace while she filled shelves and priced products. Taste tests would be an added improvement.
