We had our two mastiff's hydro bathed here = very efficient and friendly service. We waited about 25 minutes (without an appointment). The bath was good value too at $9 per dog.

We went to the Bavarian Bier cafe for a work function with a group of 11 people. The food and the beer were good, but the service was atrocious. Two members of our party waited about 30 minutes for their first drinks. Meals were served to some members up to 15 minutes ahead of the rest of the table. They also have very strict rules around which waitperson is able to do what - so for example, certain staff were able to deliver drinks but not take drink orders. This system resulted in long delays all all points of the evening - including requesting the bill

I would return there for s beer and a snack at the bar - the Bavarian Bier Cafe is in a great location with views over the Story Bridge and a good atmosphere - but I would never return there for a sit down meal.

The menu provides an extensive choice and the location is good (right in King Georges Square). The service is better at lunch than at dinner. I have been to lunch there on several occasions and find the service is fast enough to have you in and out within an hour (if that is what you need). If you are expecting 5 star dining Groove Train will not provide this, but then they dont pretend to. They are good for large groups or a quick bite/drink after work.

I ordered flowers through 1300 Flowers. Miss Daisy's fulfilled the order and they were fantastic. The fowers were a gift and when they attempted to deliver the flowers the recipient was not at home. Rather than leave the flowers at the front door (which was in full sun) they called me and advised they had taken the flowers back to the store so they would keep fresh and that they would attempt delivery again later in the day. The quality of the product was also very good - I ordered lillies and there was a good balance of opened flowers and closed buds ensuring the bouquet lasted for a good amount of time. Next time I would order direct to Miss Daisy's.

I would highly recommend Northside vets. The quality of care they provide you family pets is key and you can see that they genuinely love animals. I wouldn't recommend purchasing toys or food there as it is a little on the expensive side. Also, they have a number of vets working there, we found 2 in particular we really like and when we schedule appointments ask for these vets.

Portabella's cuisine is hard to categorise - a little tapas, a little pasta, a little steak and seafood... but whatever you call it, it is all delicious. We had the Spciy Lamb Balls and Chorizo tapas for starters - followed by crispy Barramundi and Steak for mains, and Creme Brulee for dessert - each of which was cooked well with wonderful flavours.

The service also was fantastic - best service I received in a suburban restuarant for a long time!

We will certainly be going back..... getting hungry now thinking about it!
