My office department had a team catch up lunch at Botanic Gardens Restaurant, as it is close to our office. Very leafy and quiet environment with birds chirping, not many people in the restaurant at all. We booked a large table for 10 people and pre-ordered our meals in advance so we didn't have to wait for long once we arrive. I ordered a crisp skinned duck confit for entrée and a pan fried snapper for my main. The main have a few scallops too. We also ordered some salads to share. All the dishes are delicious and the serving size are quite generous. We were too full to order any desserts. The wait staff were great and attentive, refilling our water often. They have an extensive menu for lunch and brunch in which I will come and try again next time. Reasonable prices for the meals and drinks, not expensive at all.

This review is for Dynamic Smiles Dental Centre, Ashfield NSW

My family and I visited Dr Wai Hung Sung for our dental matters who works in Dynamic Smiles clinic for more than 10 years. Clean, bright and nice dental clinic which I don't mind visiting. Dr Sung is very caring, professional and friendly who takes time to listen to our dental concerns, checkup and clean our teeth every time we visit him. He also takes X-rays of our teeth every year for records even though it might not necessary, just to ensure that his records are updated. His clinic has new equipment which takes shots of teeth and Dr Sung will explain everything he sees and what he will be doing. He sometimes gives us free samples of toothpaste for sensitive gums too. The receptionists are very friendly also, always giving us a call confirming our appointments one day in advance. As an old customer, Dr Sung also gives discounts to his services too.

This review is for Blue Stone Deli, Sydney NSW

I buy my brunch from Blue Stone Deli after I get out from the train station as the location is convenient. I usually get the chicken wraps with lettuce and mayonaise. They are freshly made in the morning and you can request them to be toasted and heated up which is quite nice. The prices are slightly more expensive than the other neighbouring shops. The Asian young boss is very polite and quiet. Their menu size is too small, I cannot read the words and prices on the menu at all which is on the board up on the wall, need to sqint my eyes and keep asking about the price and what is on the menu.

This review is for Fioro Cafe, Sydney NSW

Walked past Fioro Café where my colleagues and I bought our afternoon coffee. Small café that is cosy and comfortable. The coffee is not bad at all, but just average. I had a soy latte which smells nice and a blueberry muffin. The staff serving is super friendly though and the service is great. They have an great range of hot food and snacks on the menu as well. Prices are reasonable, not too expensive. The place tends to get quite busy, serving botht take-aways and customers sitting down.

This review is for Davonne, Greenacre NSW

The real estate agent advised that one of the bedroom in our investment property needs to have a blind so to have more privacy. We contacted Davonne for a free quote and measurement, they arranged for it straight away. They gave constructive suggestions and advice, and installed some vertical blinds for us, opening parting from the middle. Very professional guys who are polite and punctual. Pricing is reasonable and depends on the quality of the blinds you would like to install. Highly recommended.

This review is for The Original Carlifornia Burrito Company, Surry Hills NSW

verified email - 11 Mar 2013

Went past the Original Carlifornia Burrito company on the weekend which I didn't notice the shop before. I bought a large original beef burrito for lunch. It was huge in size with lots of meat in it. I couldn't fit all the layers of the burrito in my mouth for each bite.  It tastes delicious with the sauce and it was quite filling. It costed $10.95 so the price was reasonable. They have an extensive list on the menu too, in which I would like to try the chicken burrito next time. The staff was very friendly too.

This review is for Grand Pearl Seafood Restaurant, Canley Vale NSW

verified email - 11 Mar 2013

My family and I went to Grand Pearl Chinese Restaurant for dinner and the place was fully packed. We didn't make a booking so we had to wait around 15 minutes which was ok. We ordered the Peking Duck, Japanese style squid with teriyaki sauce, beef cubes with vegetables, golden crab pot with vercemilli. Everyone were full as the portion size were huge and we even had take-away some home. The dishes were delicious and we had rice with the squid and the sauce. Service was great and the wait staff were very efficient. We didn't wait for long for the dishes after we placed the order. Prices were reasonable, not the top end of the Chinese restaurant, so we will be back.

This review is for Mumu Grill, Crows Nest NSW

My husband & I with another couple went to MuMu Grill for our weekend lunch. Funky and cute decorations, great atmosphere. We had 2 coupons in which we got a shared antipasto plate to share in between each couple, and a main each. We ordered a sirloin with potatoe and peas; and pork ribs which came with chips and salad. The dishes were delicious, steak was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection "medium rare". The pork ribs were just ok relatively. We also get a glass of wine each in which we can substitute for other drinks if you don't drink. The service was excellent though, the staff came around checking if everything was ok and kept refilling our water without us asking. They have some sort of cooking class and beer tasting going on at the same time and it was interesting to see many people their attending the class.

This review is for Vera Hair Mode, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 06 Mar 2013

I went to Vera Hair Mode for a hair style cut, wash and blow dry on a weekend. I have rang up to book an appointment but still waited for around 20 minutes as the place was fully packed and they only have 2 spots in the washing area. They have magazines for me to read so I didn't mind the waiting. The salon is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The hair stylist named Chanel was very friendly, making sure she understands my requirements of the cut before starting. I am very happy with the cut which suits my face shape. I can feel that they care about their customers alot. It costs $35 total for me, but if the hair is longer, they charge an extra $5. You also get a VIP card where you can get 10% discount after 10 cuts, which is transferable and I share the card with my husband. Will surely be back again.

This review is for Sushi & Grill, Sydney NSW

verified email - 05 Mar 2013

Went to Sushi & Grill for lunch with colleagues as the shop is close to our office. Small and cosy little Japanese restaurant but quite packed during lunch time peak hour. We ordered dishes to share among ourselves, the grilled salmon, beef tataki, agedashi tofu, udon, chicken karage etc. All dishes were delicious and the salmon sashimi was very fresh. Portion size was ok, not too huge but just right for a few ladies to share. Wait staff were friendly and courteous. It wasn't expensive at all for a quick casual Japanese lunch. We will be back again.
