I used Veolia when we first moved to R.I to get from the jetty to work at Victoria Point, but after a couple of weeks I gave up. The buses are meant to meet the ferries but they never do.

I was late to work on several occasions, and went and bought another car to keep on the mainland.

If you're heading to Kingscliff, the surfari tents here are THE place to stay. Fully decked out and such an adventure to sleep in! Just like being kids again.

Overpriced and unreliable. Also disgustingly loud and annoying when schoolkids are on board. I also object to paying full fare and then, on certain ferries, schoolkids get priority.

They charge as much as they can because there is no other option.

Looked good on wotif, but when we got there the man at the counter was rude... then they charged something stupid for internet access, and the room was musty, as was the bedding. Bathroom was TINY and not very clean. Insufficient car parking which all seems to be taken up by the restaurant customers.

Disappointing and will not stay there again.

We stayed here for a surprise weekend, and it was beautiful. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, and the bed was to die for.

We also got champagne and a fruit basket in our room, which was just lovely.

The buffet breakfast was yummy, and the hotel is close to everything.

We have been here for dinner several times and we love it. I'm a steak lover, and their steaks are beautifully cooked. I usually ask for a side of caesar salad, and they are happy to make one up for me.
We've never had a bad meal there, and the service is great.

Sammie cuts my hair regularly, and she does a great job. It only costs me $20, so it's also a bargain.

Best thing is, she comes to you at a time that suits you, which is really important as I am both working and studying.

Haven is a place that helps out people who are struggling financially with accommodation, budgeting assistance, and food.
