Had breakfast here with a friend a couple of weeks ago. Our food was delicious, wholesome and from the heart. I had an amazing slab of fig and walnut toast with honey butter...it was so decadent without being overly sweet. The lady who served us also suggested a plate of fresh fruit to go with our breakfasts which was delicious. My friend said her coffee was great too. I loved the atmosphere of this little restaurant, it is like stepping into someone's home and letting them nourish you! Pricing was very reasonable too.
We visited this rooftop bar a few weeks ago for a friend's birthday. It is a great space which has been well thought out for all sorts of weather (shade, misters, heating and awnings). They have an unusual issue with their liquor licence which requires all patrons to be seated if drinking...they are trying to sort this out as soon as possible but in the meantime the staff work tirelessly to ensure that there are seats for everyone and will go out of their way to find one for you if there isnt one immediately available near you. We had some snack type food which was all very tasty and well made (dips, chips, vegetable crisps). Pricing was pretty normal...not as excessive as some places can be. We had a great night and the only slight downfall was that the taller chairs you are required to sit on at some of the tables are a bit harsh on your legs if you are wearing a short dress/skirt/shorts.
I have been to this winery twice in recent weeks. The first time was for a wedding and its hard to imagine a better event that I have attended. Everything was just perfect with a gorgeous setting, incredibly friendly staff and gorgeous wine and food. The second time I visited was for the Crush Festival and they once again did not disappoint. The wines, food and atmosphere were great and we spent the whole day relaxing and taking it all in. I cannot recommend this winery highly enough for an event or a bottle of wine.
Attended a birthday for a friend here last night. The bar is in a great location overlooking Glenelg beach and serves an excellent range of cocktails, a reasonable range of wines and other drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed with an accoustic guitarist and singer early on in the night and a chilled out DJ later. The food we had was typical pub fare...dips and breads and deep fried snacks. Nice enough but nothing too exciting. The staff were friendly and efficient.
A perfect location and a great range of food and drinks available. I was pleasantly surprised by their gift and souvenier range which was actually really nice...not tacky. They had the usual range of icecreams, hot food etc available that you would expect and prices were as you would expect. An extra bonus was the decadent looking range of cakes available. The staff member who served us was friendly, genuine and efficient. Thanks!
I am a relatively new member at this gym. It has a huge amount of different machines, classes and facilities whcih is great. I do not like walking into the building and being bombarded with protein supplements however I understand that they need to make money. The membership price was ridiculously cheap and I have 24 hour access to a lot of the gym whcih is convenient. There are some ongoing renovations which should make some of the daggier bits much better. The staff are quite young but always friendly and positive.
LOBO Cider sponsored an exhibition I was part of recently and their products were amazing. This has to be one of the best cider's I have tried and our dealings with the business were great. This is a fantastic local business and their ciders are well worth tracking down and trying.
These guys provided sponsorship for an exhibition I was part of recently. They were very generous and great to deal with. Their wines were just sublime. We had a white and a red and they were both stunning. Highly recommended to gvie them a go.
A great family run business with beautiful healthy plants and just about the biggest selection of mature trees you will see in SA. I got a gorgeous trellis which was incredibly reasonably priced and the plants I got were just thricing. Service was great and the staff really know their stuff.
An interesting range of pizzas. I had a broccolini and anchovy one that was delicious. The gnocchi my friend had was brilliant...so soft and light. These guys paid real attention to detail and the atmosphere was relaxed but classy. The service was excellent and the wine recommendation was perfect.
