This is a nice motel that has been tastefully renovated recently. We were quite impressed with the size of our room and the fittings were all nice. We had this room in a package which included some other goodies and it was really good value. :)

This is a great place to visit for a function, meal, to stay or just for a picnic alongside the lake. With Serafino cellar door also on the premises this is a great place to start your Mclaren Vale adventure.

This is a truly spectacular venue. Although there isn't the traditional sweeping gardens out from the cellar door, the building itself makes up for it. A lovely old style cellar door with some great wines to taste and very enthusiastic staff.

This winery offers a one of a kind experience. We were lucky to be in the Mclaren Vale at the time of year when this winery opens its doors to the public - three weekends a year! It's a lovely little place to visit and luckily we didn't have to line up too long to get in. I believe that at times however customers go away empty handed so make sure you ring ahead to avoid disappointment. A fun experience :)

The staff were so friendly at this winery that we found it hard to leave. We bought some delicious wines that were thoroughly enjoyed. The setting would be great for a function :)

This is one of the oldest wineries in the Mclaren Vale and the staff are full of stories about the wineries heritage. The setting is just fantastic with great views out over a valley and a rustic cellar door with the usual offerings to sample. These guys make some very exclusive wines.

We had a great time at this cellar door and it's adjacent restaurant 'The Currant Shed'. The food was brilliant and different to most and we purchased some lime cordial made from the trees that we looked out onto during our meal. The staff were also lovely :)

This is a lovely winery. There is nothing in particular that makes it stand out from the rest but it is a nice place to visit and try some good everyday drinking wines at very reasonable prices. As witth all the Mclaren Vale wineries the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a wonderful little cellar door in an old fashioned but somehow modern setting. Their beautiful gardens feature some unusual sculptures. We were very sad to find out that resident boarder collie Shadow had recently passed away but were glad to get the chance to see where this famous dog called home.

This is a great cellar door with an equally great restaurant. It's always best to make a reservation for the restaurant as it can get booked out quickly. Due to the restaurant serving some very nice wines by the glass, we were able to try a $65 a bottle shiraz - quite a treat when you are out wine tasting!
