The atmosphere of this gym has changed recently because of new management. The new policies of loud, reverberating music that bounces off the walls are not what many women want. We could find a million gyms of this ilk. I came to Fernwood because they catered for women of all ages and the atmosphere used to reflect this. No longer. It is useless discussing this with the new manager as feedback about this issue is not tolerated and ignored. Find somewhere else as I am doing.

My mother-in-law had a fixed awning installed 2 years ago. It was never sealed, which meant when heavy rain came, the water rushed in nearest to the house instead of at the other end. A down-pipe was never attached. The workmanship was poor, to say the least. For 2 years she has been trying to have this redressed. Their customer service is appalling. They lie to her, telling her that they will be coming at a certain time and never turn up. They promise "next week", "tomorrow" "is "7am too early for you?" (no - she'd be up at 4am if they would just turn up!) -- all just rubbish. They do not show. She rings their number. "I'm on my way". Lies ++ DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNETHICAL. Our family is disgusted at this company.

Did not show for appt time. Had to follow up with them twice before being told plumber would be 3/4 hr late. No apologies.
Poor service from what used to be a reliable company. This business has deteriorated over the years.
