I took my daughter into Laudman and Pank during term three last year, she had been having a bit of teouble seeing the board. Laudman and Pank were able to fit me in for a checkup the day after I rang up. My daughter was a bit worried about getting her eyes tested, as she had never done anything like this before, but the optomitrist was very good with her and put her completley at ease. In the end it turned out that her eyes were fine, and as the eyetest was bulk billed, I only had to pay for the eyedrops that I got for my husband while I was there.
