I have been buying from Breadtop for a long time. I have accepted that there may be a cultural reason to why the staff are not friendly, but I have been happy with the cakes and bread UNITIL NOW.
Unfortunately, they served me a stale cake a few days ago and when I told them, they refused to offer a refund because they wanted to see a receipt. Now the staff don't normally give you a receipt, so for everyone's sake, please ask for a receipt as evidence of them selling stale food. I have learnt now that I should ask for a receipt when purchasing from places like these.

My mother recently had her prescription filled out by Chemist Warehouse. A pharmacist by the name of Yvonne Yapp filled it out but forgot to give her one of the 2 drops she was supposed to take. The doctor assumed she was taking the right eyedrops and said that she should continue for a month. None of us could imagine that the Pharmacist DID NOT fill the correct prescriptions. Lucky in this instance it did not kill anyone!
People are probably best to go to small pharmarcies where the pharmacist has had a bit more experience and knowledge on drugs rather than supermarket stores like Chemist Warehouse with inexperienced staff.

We stayed there for a few days after our wedding in January 2007 and was disappointed to find that they had plumbing problems. The hotel failed to inform us when they were turning off the water and my husband was in the middle of having a shower. The hallways smelt like a sewerage dump during our stay. We were not offered an alternative room nor were we compensated for such filthy conditions. It would have been nice if the hotel had apologised for our poor treatment when we complained. This is not what I expected for 4.5 star hotel.
