although i haven't held one of my kids parties here we have been to other kids parties & loved it. Such a great idea for the older kids that are "over" having parties at playcentres

goo place but the older kids get a bit bored here as there's not as many "big slides", but it does have the teacup ride & air guns. Bit pricey (also have to pay for an adult) so keep an eye out on shopper dockets & coupons from the smart saver newspaper as they always have special offers on

not your typical pub on the outside or inside. it's a quaint rustic country style pub off the main road that serves up good food & good service :)

i've been going here since a little kid & dr paris saw me through the horrid braces years :)
great team that work here, front staff are friendly & the dentists are great & don't make you feel rushed, they take their time. Prices aren't too bad too considering the high level of service you get (and also because it's berwick). dr paris you have to book 6 months at least in advance but some of the others you can see within a few weeks.
great pool, a variety of options for different age levels. my 2 year old loves the kiddie pool as it doesn't have too many of those water jet style toys (which she dislikes). the wave pool is good although hasn't been switched on at times. but my kids especially like the medium sized pool as they can go for a proper swim & it's heated alot more than the lap pool
this clinic used to be terrible, horrendous waiting times (even at 4am when i'm the only one in there), doctors that you couldn't understand. But the last year that i've been going here they've been very good. I've waited no longer than 10-15mins with an appointment & probably 30-40mins as a walk in. the doctors seem alot more friendlier & are keen to diagnose any issues. Also the nurse on duty is great, the wait time isn't long to see them for stiches etc. didn't know it existed until i was sitting in there waiting area by mistake one day. so it was very handy instead of going to the emergency room with my daughter i went to the nurses. they're situated down the hall to the right of the main reception.
i've been here a few times but it's a really hard clinic to get a last minute appointment to. i don't think they bulk bill either but i could be wrong
fantastic service available for everyone. it does save an un-necessary trip to the doctor everytime one of my kids has a symptom that can easily be cured at home or by popping down to the chemist. they're registered nurses so they've seen it all before & can quite easily help you diagnose problems over the phone

It is a typical pub/family bistro, meals are the same as any other pub. it's nice enough though, and as with the majority of pubs in the area you go up to the counter to be served which is no problem for me. Clean inside, meals are good & arrive fairly quick

This shop has been here for at least 20+ years, although it's changed hands a few times & names. The current owners are very friendly & the dad loves to have a chat while you're waiting (he even offered us to sample a pizza he'd just cooked himself for dinner). The whole family are involved with this business & it shows. Prompt service, great food, great price & fast delivery (if required). One of the sons delivered to us on a 40 degree day & was still friendly & smiling when i opened the door.
