So you're in Cheltenham, you want food, but inner city style food. You know the type that's jazzy funky and you haven't had a million times - you come here.

The food was delicious, it's a bit pricey but expected (we did order cocktails too- which were good) and I would highly recommend the whole snapper. I will definitely be back and will try our the chefs selection.

Look, it could really do with some greenery. It's a great meeting spot and sometimes has awesome entertainment and I appreciate it for that. But It's a cement slab when I think about it. Maybe some gardens and some plants would do the trick.

This review is for Car Servicing and You Carnegie, Carnegie VIC

For years I've suffered from dodgy mechanics, so I thought well WOMO can't get it wrong....IT DID. I went to Car Servicing & You due to the 5 star feedback- surely it can't be dodgy?

The car was overdue for a service and had a problem with the petrol being used at a ridiculously scary rate. It also would get a warning that the ABS system had a fault.

Explained all of this to the mechanic, expecting some bad news..... few hours later I get a phone call explaining all of these things needing to be done that add up to over $2000, if I get it all done, it'll be like a new car- If I get most of it done around $1800 it'll be safe/reliable etc. etc. My bf and I figured it needed things done and gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to have the $1800 worth of work/servicing done to it- he also mentioned we'd be able to pick the car up that night even though there was so much to do...

Pick the car up and the mechanic warns us that he thinks they've fixed the ABS problem but maybe not- as soon as they turn the car on it starts notifying us of its fault- not fixed, but that's ok as it was a possibility.

After we drive away we occasionally start to notice this weird kind of rattling fan kind of sound from one side of the car.

The petrol starts being used at a more normal rate- tick.

2 weeks later driving the car- it starts to shake like REALLY BAD! My partner looks under the bonnet and notices that the new leads are sitting on the exhaust (the mechanic mentioned previously that the old leads were fried so they were replaced!) the car shakes and sparks fly. So we can't drive it. I call the mechanic he says bring it back and he'll have a look at it etc.

I take it in the next day (before I leave for a 2 week holiday) and leave it with him. Later on I get a call letting me know that the leads are melting on the exhaust and it's missing some protective cap, but it's a prior problem to when they changed the leads over so this time he will charge me only for the parts to replace the leads again and put some tape on them to hold them in place....something like $150 I swear he said. I was Like what, why? then he goes on again about the problem existing prior to when they fixed it---blah blah... So because they didn't do their job properly and figure out why the first set of leads were fried I have to pay again? I call my partner and explain the situation and he speaks to the mechanic and after some discussion and my partner saying how it is- that they can't charge us twice for the same job! the mechanic turns around straight away and says "I'll do ya a favour, because you spent so much money, I'll do it free of charge for ya." So then I go to pick it up and he says to me like he was going to all along "Free of charge for you!"---not like we didn't have to argue it. So that's my long story. Basically in my experience I wouldn't go back to be charged twice for them not doing their job in the first place- then trying to take advantage of a female who knows nothing about cars and can't stand confrontation. They deserve this review and this one star. I've had enough of mechanics!

P.S. 2 weeks later get back from my holiday AND MAYBE this is a coincidence, most likely....But maybe not.....The car starts overheating due to a burst hose. (found out from a mechanic friend- should've used them from the start.)

It's so busy here but they still treat you great and in all honesty I don't think I could be a nice, calm and friendly person under these circumstances. Also you get complimentary sparkling water! Omg. Love love love. Food and coffee is great too. A bit expensive but it's a cool hip place so it's expected and worth it especially when you compare to those boring traditional competitors

If I could give half stars it would get 3.5. I haven't eaten a restaurant sit down meal here from the menu- just what's in the display fridge. I really liked this place when it first opened with all the fresh pressed juices and rice noodle salads (a bit plain tasting but healthier than other foods and reasonablly priced)....it gave deakin a healthier option for lunch...however I only discovered it late last year, then I come back this year and most of the healthy options are gone :( maybe no-one was buying them....but I don't think many people knew about it. The coffee is best on campus though and a tad cheaper. However, I bought half a salad wrap and it was ridiculously priced for what it was- it was soooooo plain! not just plain but like a piece of lettuce, carrot, tomato and avocado.....and half size! $6.50 or something! such a rip. Maybe if it had some char-grilled veggies in their too and it was thick-- but it was tiny. Hopefully they see this and maybe think twice about what they're putting out, I know Deakin doesn't have much competition but it doesn't mean you should make things crappy and charge heaps for them.

Normally I love chatime but I just had a crappy customer service experience at the Knox centre. Especially since I was working in the centre too. SERIOUSLY what is wrong with businesses! I wanted to order a drink (a hot tea as it was so cold) which was 4.40 but only had 4.10 so offered to pay on card and the guy at the counter said minimum 5 on card! well I didn't want anything else just a drink....so he wouldn't let me be short AND wouldn't let me pay on card so he lost business there! Won't be going back

Once I found a hair in my sushi and went to take it back, so they offered me more sushi, but eating half a hair was off-putting so I said I wanted my money back and they gave me 1/2 of it back because I'd eaten some of it! They were also very rude! I think there is better sushi level 1. And I find sushi sushi to kind of taste like boring.

I came here before my 21st party, I'd been here a few times before and had never been offered a tea, coffee or water. But everyone else around me had the thing is it happened 3 times. I never really enjoyed the customer service here but they did a good colour so I came back however my final straw was my 21st...so I show the hairdresser an example style of what I want (also naturally I have wavy curly hair and wanted ling loose curls) Meanwhile she's cutting my hair and her mobile rings SHE ANSWERS while cutting my hair and says "don't worry I know what I'm doing " firstly I'm paying for thiS, I didn't even get asked if I minded. Secondly the phone call was to complain and gossip about a family member- not a good atmosphere and finally after she'd cut my hair to my displeasure the style she gave me was Shirley temple vs Marilyn Monroe! she said don't worry it will drop and knowing my hair I knew it wouldn't! So I went home and straightened half of it. Since then I have never stepped foot inside and never will I was disgusted with the service and not knowing my hair type wouldn't drop but also the phone call while cutting.

I go to the one in mentone and it's pretty awesome! The atmosphere is upbeat and the staff all seem to be lovely and accommodating. It's is a bit expensive especially for a plain bagel and cream cheese but I come here often and enjoy the coffee :)

Sorry it's jiminy kitchen! But my autotext changed it! We hadn't been to parkdale for coffee in ages and there has never been anywhere that good so I was a bit hesitant to g. But lucky I did we stumbled across this new place and thank goodness Parkdale has been Revived! The coffee was great and the offer almond milk (although althoughine curdled it was still enjoyable) but above all the customer service was fantastic, everyone seemed happy there and just so friendly- will be back to try food next time time. I'd recommend this place for sure though I
