First and last time here! Our grilled flake cost $6.40 each and was the smallest, dryest most tasteless fish I've ever had. It was also burnt on the outside! 1 of our 2 potato cakes was so burnt it was dark brown, flakey and had hardly any potato in it. I can't even believe they served that! The crab stick was also tasteless and the chips were under cooked and had a funny taste. Don't bother! Even though this place is around the corner, I will be driving the extra few minutes to Heidelberg Fish and Chip Shop on Upper Heidelberg Road.

I am currently having gentlelase hair removal treatment at Neoskin. They were referred to me by a friend and they are so fantastic that I feel I should tell everyone else. It is $70 for 5 minutes of laser, which may sound expensive, but they can do your underarms, Brazilian and tummy in this time. The staff are the most welcoming, calming and professional ladies I've ever experienced. I highly recommend Neoskin, and this is from someone who has never spent money on themselves and just put up with unwanted hair. You won't be disappointed.

As part of our romantic weekend away, we were given a voucher to eat at The Views Restaurant. When we arrived, we were quite shocked that a 4.5 star accommodation place recommended such a dull place for a meal.
The waitress clearly hates her job and didn't want to be there. Whilst ordering entrees, my boyfriend asked if there was cucumber in the salad as he was allergic. It was like the world had ended for this lady and it was such a difficult question to answer. We ended up ordering the $12 Asian share platter. When it arrived, we noticed it was 3 mini dim sims, 3 mini spring rolls, 2 samosas and 2 money bags. I called the waitress over and asked where the main part of the dish was, being an Asian noodle salad. Instantly she raised her voice and said they ran out and she is just the waitress. I was really shocked and didn't know what to say. Next thing we knew, the Manager came storming over and said "what seems to be the problem?" I politely said that I had just queried where the salad was. She was the rudest lady I've ever spoken to! She said they had 80 people in that day so they had run out, but they had put an extra mini dim sim and spring roll on the plate to compensate so she didn't understand what the problem was. She stormed off and hardly let us speak. We finished our drink, stood up and went over to pay what we owed. We were definitely not staying here for mains! The Manager asked where we were going and we told her that we didn't want to eat here. She then raised her voice at us as we had already ordered mains and made a huge scene whilst rushing to the kitchen. I thought it is about time I have my say, so I calmly said we were not happy with their attitude. Her response was "some times it's the attitude of the customer". We paid what we owed and walked out with her abusing us on the way. This completely ruined our weekend away and I am honestly extremely shocked with being treated like that. I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life so that will hopefully reiterate to everyone how bad this place is. Completely unacceptable. You would expect better service in a small town relying on tourism.

Having recently moved to the area, I was a bit hesitant to find a new beauty therapist for my waxing. The staff at Eternal Skin were so professional and welcoming. The lady that did my waxing was absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable. I have always had issues of missed patches and wax left on my legs. She got every bit and I will honestly say that it has taken a lot longer than usual for my hair to grow back (dont know how that's possible). Overall an amazing experience and service and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I'm keeping this short because I have already written a huge complaint on another website and it amazingly got deleted. Isn't it funny how only the good reviews remain on some sights? The Secret Hair Code should be shut down! They store all of their dryers and straighteners on the floor, which for starters is an OH&S issue. They do not clean any of their brushes. My main issue is that I now have blue streaks in my hair. I wanted an all over colour of light brown, so the 'colourist' told me she would have to put blue over the lighter bits so the brown would stick. I now have jet black hair with lovely blue streaks in it. My only option is to strip my beautiful long hair that will completely damage it. I got my money back from the site I bought the voucher off, but more importantly, I need to tell everyone what a huge mistake you will be making even going to this place for a simple thing. I am in the process of trying to get them investigated and shut down.
