After being given notice that our tenant was vacating after 8 years we were left with the daunting task of finding a new tenant. We had no idea where to begin, how to do it, what the legislation required us to do and above all we did not have the time. As a busy working family, we had no time or knowledge on where to start, what was required etc.
A friend recommended I contact Liz at Landlord Services Pty Ltd. She took all the fear, hassle and worry out of it. Liz personally came to see me, inspected the rental property, prepared the ad, handled all the enquiries, met all the interested tenants at the property, provided them with application forms and presented them to me.
Once we selected our preferred tenant, Liz reference, employment and rental checked them. We were delighted on how quickly and professionally she handled everything. Liz prepared the fixed term agreement, submitted the bond, did the initial inspection, introduced us to the tenant, pass on the first two weeks rent to us and then stepped out of the process.
We couldn't be happier with both the selected tenant and the service Landlord Services provided to us. We will continue to use Landlord Services as the need arises in the future and strongly recommend and encourage this service to others who would like to manage their own property but don't know or don't have time to meet legislated requirements in finding suitable tenants.
