I love this restaurant and always visit when I am in Melbourne. It is always very busy when we go, and I would recommend booking especially for dinner as they get full quick.

The staff are very friendly and always offer to explain the menu, and offer still or sparkling water. We love to go for the bento boxes for lunch as these are great value - they are like an all in one entree-main-dessert meal. The souva's are also delicious. They can cater for gluten free very well even with the souvalakis.

The only thing to be aware of is the room does get crowded and it does get very loud so it can be hard to have a discussion with more than one person.

We turned up for dinner here and did not have a booking and despite it being very busy they could fit us in ten minutes later.

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was also quick. The food was reasonably priced and they had a variety of options ranging from standard to gourmet. I was able to have a bowl of gluten free pasta which was pleasing. They also have a great range of drinks as well.

The prices really depend on what you order - the pizzas are great value but some other dishes cost more. You should be able to find something based on your budget from $20 per person upwards.

Stopped in here today for lunch while having a trip to the beach. The lady that serviced us was not very friendly - she really did not want to be at work and she showed it. I ordered a medium chips and it was the smallest "medium" chips I have ever seen, hardly enough for one person. The chips were also soggy and very light on the chicken salt that was ordered. The only positive of the experience was that the food was ready quickly.

The burgers were are great! I've been to this place a few times a bit before the dinner rush (around 5 ish) so it was been quieter and my burger was ready quickly. Sometimes the staff are not overly friendly and service is slow for ordering as they take all the phones orders while we wait and wait (instead of asking 1 call to hold). I often order 1 burger cut in 1/2 and 1 serve of fries with a friend and they are more than happy to do this and serve on 2 plates. They have really nice gluten free bread as well.

Located next to the other food vans, this one is the one to choose if you want quick service as the food is ready in only a few minutes. The tacos are nice but a little small for the price at $5 each as an adult would need 2-3 of these. They offer a variety of heat choices and I'm a lover of spicy food but found even the 'little bit of spice' option was very hot and my partner couldn't finish his.

This food van provides some delicious burgers and various other sides like poutine or cheesy fries. The menu each night is small with around 5-6 choices of burgers but they do vary them and you can usually check on facebook what the weekly items are. The van is so popular however that average wait time is a minimum of 30 mins, usually more like 45, so that usually puts me off having this. It is a nice area as there is a large park to sit in and a playground for the kids, so in summer it isn't bad to wait.

I first booked here as a surprise for a family members birthday. We turned up and the staff were very friendly and polite. We had a hot stone massage - The service was professional, and they let us know what was going on and checked everything was okay along the way (eg. that the stones weren't too hot). The rooms were very clean and hygienic. I have been back since and will continue to visit Ambiance for this particular service. I found the price was better than most others I looked at for the same service.

The only problem is they are so busy its often hard to get an appointment but that speaks for their quality. They often a great variety of times including night and weekend appointments - you just need to book in advance.

Visited here for brunch on a Saturday. The cafe was very busy but we had rung up to secure a table earlier. The waitress attended to us quite quickly and we had our drinks soon after. The menu was quite extensive with a variety of choices. The meals took a while to come but it was very busy, and notes on the menu suggested it can take a while due to the busy cafe and small team. The meals were fresh, hot and delicious - they were also generous in size. The only disappointment was my "fresh apple juice" tasted more like a long life bottled juice.

We visited here for a large group dinner (about 30 people).

The food come out very staggered over 10-15 minutes which was a little annoying but also meant it was all very hot so that worked out okay. They do wood fired pizza which was nice and also had a huge range of options on the menu all of which were reasonably priced. The main meals were good, but the dessert was amazing in quality.

Another bonus was the self-serve glasses of water sitting on a near by keg, and the piano that could be played.

We came here around 8pm at night for dinner. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was pleasant but strange for they would attend to us and then go out the back and not come near us again for ages so we couldn't get drinks etc. Also when we had finished our meal they cleared the table and then just left us until 20 minutes later we went up to pay - they did not offer us more drinks, dessert etc (and by this time more diners had turned up so they weren't waiting to close). The food however was 5 stars - very delicious.
