Stayed in an ensuite cabin. Immaculately clean, not a spec of dirt in sight, even the fridge was spotless! Lovely surroundings, including a nice walk to the beach with kangaroos hopping around everywhere. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night so didnt get to enjoy the bird feeding or hot spa/pool. Only qualm was the bed was only a twin so not really suitable for two people, didnt sleep much.

I booked a 3 bedroom apartment with a spa and when I arrived was told the spa was broken and the pool could not be used either. It was very obvious the manager did not read my booking properly given the response "oh did you book the spa apartment did you?". Had I of known beforehand that both the spa and pool were out of order I would of cancelled my booking and stayed elsewhere. The apartment was also advertised as having "wireless internet" which is completely false. All it had was access to an outgoing landline for YOUR OWN wireless DIAL UP internet!!! Considering I was in the area for a 2 day study workshop, I was hoping to access the internet for study. The pedestal fan was CAKED in dust as were the ornamentals and TV, the fridge seals were dirty, kettle base was dirty. Definitely would not go back there!

Only go here to get the paper as it is a very small newsagent with limited selection of products. The staff need a lesson in customer service as they are not very friendly and one particular staff member stands there looking at you while you wait to be served. How hard is it to say hello or can I help you?

Nice food at reasonable prices. The hot bar nights are popular and very affordable, and there is such a high turnover that often the food barely has time to hit the hot box. On the downside the store desperately needs a spruce up, curtains badly need a wash. I wonder about the hygiene of the place though as in the 6yrs Ive been going there, there has been the same filthy towel hanging across the screen door into the kitchen. I assume this is so customers cant see in the kitchen.

Always friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Much better since the shop was renovated, not so cluttered and easy to find things. They have some really nice gifts too.

The entrance is very fancy, the rooms are a disappointment, which I found misleading.
Massage which was great, but at the end masseuse said "ok thankyou" and left room leaving me on the table. Would of been nice for him to explain what he was doing. Also would of liked a WARNING!! that the day spa was openly nude. Id never been to one so had no idea. The ladies were prancing around naked, one lady was giving her privates a very detailed wash in full veiw with no effort to be respectful to others. Another lady came and stood next to me being very detailed and unrespectful with the moisturiser and mirror. Its not really the nudity that bothered me, just the lack of respect for others. Either keep it at home or at least be a bit discreet.

Had lunch here whilst visiting canberra. I had the peri peri chicken burger and it was devine!! Very filling too, considering it wasnt a main meal as such. Reasonable price too. Good atmosphere, clean bathrooms. My only rant would be the fake fireplace. A real one would definitely ice the cake!

Had dinner here as we were staying close by at The Lorikeet Tourist Park (highly recommended accommodation by the way). Very generous portions at a great price. We both had a "light meal" (approx $9) and it was incredibly filling and very nice. The chips were the freshest tasting I have ever had, tasted like those you would cut and cook yourself. The desserts were also yummy and generous in size.

I went here to get a coffee and a snack. I had a cheesecake brownie which was quite nice and reasonably priced. I ordered a mochaccino in a mug with skim milk. I was discusted when they rang it up and charged $2 purely because I wanted skim milk. Is this allowed??? I know some places might charge about 50c extra, but not often, more often you pay extra only for soy milk. It ended up being a $5.80 cup of coffee. That is totally ridiculous! For that price I would expect an extremely good proper italian coffee with at least one flavour shot in it. Well it turned out to be a weak as water coffee, with what seemed to be probably about half a teaspoon of chocolate powder in it. Definitely NOT a mocha. It tasted revolting.

Firstly ill say the coffee was alright, although a bit cold. What Im rating this business for, is because of the discusting sandwhiches we were sold. They were egg and lettuce sandwhiches and were "special of the day". Now I wouldnt of thought special of the day meant that it was a week old and they would rather try sell them than lose a few dollars. The bread was stale, the egg was questionable, and the lettuce was literally brown and slimy. They would of had to of been sitting there at least 4 days. I took them back to the counter, and wasnt even offered so much as a refund or replacement. I had to ask for one.
