I purchased a Hair Makeover voucher for $65. I asked if this included a cut when making booking, but got an evasive answer. The voucher did not specifically mention a cut, but as it stated "extra for long hair, toner etc" I assumed the "makeover DID include a cut, or it would have been mentioned as an extra. Anyway, after the colour and treatment I asked for a cut, but was (rudely) informed by the senior hairdresser that a cut wasn't included. I asked how much extra a cut would be & was told $40. This would make the entire deal quite expensive overall, so I said I was disappointed that this hadn't been made clear to me when I booked, and that I felt misled by the advertised term "Hair Makeover". The senior person then told her junior to ring the owner & I spoke to her on the phone. This owner became highly emotional, accusing me of wanting "something for nothing" and that I had no idea how much it cost to employ people, pay wages etc. As all I wanted was the merest 2cm trim, I said that I would swap the blow-dry for a trim, but she refused. Eventually, she agreed to a trim with extremely bad grace. The junior person, who had performed all the work without even a glance from the senior, then proceeded to do the cut. It took all of 7 minutes. During this time there were no other customers, so the staff were hardly run off their feet. Indeed the senior person spent most of her time out of the salon or upstairs eating lunch.
I couldn't wait to get out of the place, such was the thoroughly distasteful attitude of the owner & senior hairdresser. If these coupons are designed to attract new business, then the owner's attitude to a potential new (and local) customer was regrettable to say the least.
I believe that this business will fail due to its culture. As well, the quality of the services I received was barely average, although the young girl tried her best without any help, encouragement or assistance from her supervisor.

Approximate cost: $65

I had a discount voucher, so was not expecting first-class service. Well, was I wrong! I arrived after a harrowing morning, and promptly given a welcome cup of coffee just how I like it. I then discussed my needs with Lisa, who was very professional & made some welcome suggestions. I had a color, trim & blow-wave, and was delighted with the results. The scalp massage alone was to die for! Lisa only took over the salon late last year, and I do hope that the locals & others discover this hidden gem. The atmosphere is laid back, great chill-out music, attentive & friendly staff & reasonably priced. A big thumbs-up to Su Misura Hair - I'll be back!!

Had Groupon voucher. Only treated 1 area, not 2 as in voucher. No photorejuvenation as stated in the groupon original ad. Worst of all, the "so-called" Botox had no effect whatsoever! It was either NOT botox at all, or the concentration too small to have any effect. I am going to Consumer Affairs & I urge anyone else who feels ripped-off to register their concern. Avoid this lot like the plague!!!
