We hired Northern Brass Band to play at a Christmas Function and they were terrific. They are available for concerts and events which they schedule in around their competitions.

Needing some repair work done on my car I checked out three crash repair centres in this area. I was looking for a mechanic who would listen to what I wanted. I found this person at Eltham Collision Care. The quote was very reasonable especially in comparison with the two other centres. On collecting my car, I was presented with a bunch of flowers as a 'Thank You' for choosing their service. I was very impressed with their repair and have since recommended their business by word of mouth.

Echo Balloons may be a small shop in a small suburb but they give big service! They give helpful suggestions about color co-ordination, weights and construction of balloon designs. For a very reasonable fee, they will deliver the balloons to your party destination and this can take away a lot of stress on those special occasions. They also have party crockery, cutlery and favors. They also have quite a good selection of reasonably priced gifts.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is amazing. The food is delicious and the serving size would fill any hungry person. In fact, if you are unable to eat all of your order, they offer to pack it in a container for you to take home. As soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed and seated. Although not related, you feel as if the staff are part of one big happy family which stems from the owner and manageress of Bites Cafe. It was a very popular place to be on a public holiday and even though the cafe was working to full capacity, there was not cutting corners in the quality and presentation of the meals. This is a cafe where you can stop by for a meal, a coffee or just to purchase products. I was recommended to this place by word of mouth and I tell everyone I know about it.

The bakery has quite a selection of delicious cakes, slices, bread and pastries. Part of the shop inside, is set aside as a cafe or you can sit at one of the outdoor tables and watch the boats on the water. My friend and I sat there and enjoyed a nice coffee. All the bakery items were very reasonably priced and if you come in near the end of the day, they discount the prices for their customers.

This is a very fun place to eat especially if you are an Agatha Christie fan,as everything from menu to furnishings depicts a scene right out of one of Miss Marple's adventures. The meals are of a generous serving size and you may actually need to share one of the desserts as they are served in a big glass bowl! Everyone in the group I was with was very happy with their choice of meal and the prices of the meals was very reasonable. Unfortunately, on my second visit to Miss Marple's Tea Room with a small group of friends, we only ordered a drink each and the waitress seemed a bit put out that we were not eating anything. Some said they wouldn't come back again, but I would.

Every time I go there, it is just a wonderful foodie experience. They have such a variety of meals and drinks available. You can pop in for a meal, a snack or just a drink. It is such a popular place that it is best to book ahead but they do their best to seat all people even if you don't have a booking. A great place for that special occasion or that relaxed brunch. Good prices too!

This book store has a vast supply of second hand books and cover just about every category. In general, the price of the books are reasonable. Some books are first editions and the price for them is in accordance to their value. The Merchant of Fairness will also value your books for a small fee if they have to do extensive research.

Alta Vita offers a fine dining experience with an ambient atmosphere or you can be seated in the cafe area. Their meals and cakes are delicious and their coffee is fantastic. A lovely place to go and relax over a meal with friends.
