Absolutely beautiful japanese food accompanied by a brilliant cocktail selection. You have to be ready to splurge if you are coming to Sake. The miso cream scallop melts in your mouth. The tuna ceviche - you'll never find anything like it in a sushi takeaway. My must have every time i go is the chirashi salad – yuzu-dressed sashimi pieces, crunchy salad mix, thin noodles, sliced sushi omelette & flying fish roe, topped with daikon tsuma & tempura crunch. This salad is absolute magic!
Also great for celebrity spotting - Gary and Hayden from master chef were there, spotted Chris Hemsworth outside one day too.
Definitely a pay day treat - between 4 girls each with 2 cocktails we spent $110 per person

Newtown is thai town. Thai potong is not your average thai takeaway place. It just a little fancy but a whole lot of yummy. It is a very big restaurant and can get crowded on a weekend. Everything looked so good it was hard to decide what to order so will be going back again to try to get through the whole menu. At the end of your meal you get some "gift shop money" which you can wander over and buy a small souveniour.

Went with a few girls - great food for sharing accompanied by good wine selection. Offers a great selection for the vegetarian friend too. Polenta chips were yummy - staff were lovely. Its a really nice chilled out place.

Being a chain business you expect consistent quality. Everything is satisfactory, but takes a while to be delivered. Favourite pizza would be the duck one. They do gourmet pizzas well. Cost more then your average pizza place but worth the money

This is our favourite weekend take away place. We usually get the chicken burger meals - comes with a big burger, 2 pieces of chicken, mayo, cheese, salad, chilli and the best chips in town. Big and crispy chips with chicken salt and a can of soft drink. About $10 for the burger meal. The guys are friendly even when busy.

Was at Subsolo on a monday night with friends. Has a spread of tapas and a glass of wine each. Used the 25% off from the Entertainment Book. Just returning from Barcelona a week ago the tapas brought me back to my holiday. Good quality Spanish food. Beautiful decor and staff service.
