We went for dinner on a weeknight and had a nice meal. We had a garlic pizza to start which was loaded up with garlic which was great. It was quite large so if you have this then don't have any of the complimentary bread rolls. The meals didn't take very long to arrive. I had the lasagne which came with chips and salad. It was good however the lasagne needed more tomato as it was very meaty.
Good pub meal.

I have been going to East Empress for around 15 years now and have not had a bad meal. Dining in is just superb with a variety of choices, although not the cheapest Chinese however its worth every cent. The staff are amazing and always make sure you night is memorable.
Take-away is great too - we travel from Rowville just for it!

This medical centre is excellent as you have most services all in the one spot. I saw a doctor about my dislocated finger and then she called downstairs where I could go an have an x-ray straight away without waiting for anyone or changing location.
If you book an appointment they are usually on time and there is a small pharmacy there as well so you can grab prescriptions all at once. It would be nice if they did bulk bill and you pay about $62 for a GP consultation.

Very good local fish and chip shop. Visit here every 2-3 months and always have a good meal. Standard fish and chip prices. The hamburgers are always tasty as well with adequate toppings.

We went here for brunch and I had poached eggs and bacon which was nice and my husband had pancakes but only received one pancake which was a bit disappointing for the price. Nice food but a little pricey, however you have to expect that in Sorrento.

The room was outstanding - large and clean with great bathroom. The hotel foyer is spectacular and the bar is nice, however the service at the bar was very slow, so we only had one drink and went out. We got a great deal from hotelclub so it only cost $120 for the night.

I went here for lunch and had great meals. Theg kids meals were very large and they loved the showbag they also received. They accept entertainment book vouchers to make it even better value.

We stayed in a King studio room on our wedding night and it was wonderful. They gave us a free late check-out and our room was superb with lovely spa and heaps of space. We will definitely go back here. Worth the higher price that you pay.

We love ordering online to Scoresby Thai and then setting our delivery time. Great Thai food, good prices and they deliver which is always a winner.

After being a regular visiter to the Portsea Hotel my last two visits have been less than impressive. I was with a friend who can not have dairy and the staff were not able to assist with her requirements. No one could tell her if the aoli had dairy in it, she eventually ordered the burger only to be told later on that the meat was cooked in butter. No options were provided or refund offered directly.
The next time friends had ordered the $99 seafood platter only to find the cold seafood was still frozen despite the menu saying it was fresh. Staff did not apologize and just offered a jug of beer.
Such a shame for an iconic pub with awesome views.
