This review is for Blair's Tyres, Peakhurst NSW

I have been using these guys for years for both tyres and car servicing...
They are one of the most helpful mechanics that I have found, nothing is too much trouble and they actually take the time to explain any issues to you...
On a couple of occasions I have requested the car back at a certain time to get to work and they have yet to let me down, often finishing the job early...
They also offer a really quick pink slip service and being online they send the pink slip straight through to the RTA electronically for you which is a definite plus...
Another huge plus with these guys is their honesty. Rather than have me spend $1000's on my old beater of a car, they advised me that it really wouldn't be worth it, as the car was on it's way out...
They also offer a good range of tyres in various price ranges...
I highly recommend you give these guys a go - they haven't let me down yet!!

This review is for Rashay's Cafe And Restaurant, Liverpool NSW

Went there fairly late at night and were quite happy to have found a restaurant open at the time...
As it was busy it took quite a while to be served...
Loved the large drink sizes, all was looking promising when they were brought out...
I ordered nachos and paid extra to have real cheese out on top!!...
The serving size was o.k but they weren't really all that flavoursome...
The price at the end for the food that we ate was fairly high...
We didn't have dessert but some of the ones on other tables looked quite nice...
I don't think we'll be going back to this place though...

This review is for Davo's Trattoria On Nuwarra, Moorebank NSW

I have been to Davo's years ago and really enjoyed the food and service however was a little disappointed on my most recent visit...
The service was fair, it was a busy night and a little hard to get the waitress' attention for that second drink...
The pizza that I had was reasonable, although a little under-topped... nothing special for a restaurant pizza...
My other half ordered a seafood dish which was a little bland as well as on the smallish side... He left hungry that night!!
For the price we weren't really all that impressed by our experience - not quite what we expected on the night...
Upon talking to friends in the neighbourhood they let us know that the restaurant changed chefs, which could explain the difference in quality from years ago...

This review is for Mortdale Wishbone Chickens, Mortdale NSW

Fresh chicken and a friendly welcome!!

A great little takeaway shop, one of the best on the main strip at Mortdale...

Wishbone does a tasty charcoal chicken with delicious stuffing to match!!

Their chips are a favourite among all customers, good and crisp and with a very flavoursome chicken salt...

They also have a good range of fresh salads available, with the Caesar and pasta salads being firm favourites of mine...

What sets Wishbone apart from a lot of other places is the great service!! Each time you visit you are treated like an old friend and often have a good laugh!

The prices are also fair, with some reasonably priced combo packs of chicken chips and salad...

With quick, friendly service and a tasty menu I definitely suggest you visit Wishbone!!

This review is for Crown Charcoal Chicken, Wattle Grove NSW

Chicken and More!!
This busy Chicken shop is one of the best that I have encountered in the way of variety and taste...
The charcoal chicken is cooked well and with the high turnaround of such a busy shop it is always fresh...
The chips are nice and crisp and come well seasoned, with a very tasty chicken salt...
You also must try their hamburgers, they too are flavoursome and come with plenty of salad...
Speaking of salad... there are always plenty of fresh salads available to go with your meal...
They also do little quick bite items such as Chicken tenders pre-cooked and ready to go...
The prices are quite reasonable and the only time you will have a big wait for your food is around dinner time...
The only drawback for this business is that no matter what time of the day, the service really isn't all that friendly - I must clarify here that they are by no means rude but it's almost as if they know that the food is that good they don't have to really try...
The food is definitely worth going back for regardless!!

This review is for Cake It Away, Moorebank NSW

verified email - 14 Aug 2012

I had a large chocolate mud cake made up with a picture on top for a birthday and also 2 half cakes from the standard range...
Firstly let me say the cakes were delicious and looked great, there were plenty of compliments on the night!!
The service was pretty good with them working with me to get the cake that I wanted at the time I needed it...
The one big drawback for this business was the cost - for the cakes that I got the bill came up at well over $100!!
A little dear I felt especially being that the larger cake was just a decorated slab mud cake...

This review is for Kiwi Style Fish And Chips, Mascot NSW

DELISH FISH!! ... and everything else...
My other half introduced me to this place several years ago and we have been back time and time again ever since!!
The food is absolutely lovely... The crumbed fish has a light and delicate crumb to it which serves to accentuate the fish rather than over power it, which is so often the case at other places...
The calamari is probably the most tender I have ever eaten and definitely an item you should order a little more of - else you find yourself back at the counter ordering more.. It's just sooo good!!
The chips are very tasty and always crisp... they also have Kumara (sweet potato) chips which are quite nice...
These are my obvious favourites but there are many other delicious offerings on the menu...
Including... ATTENTION KIWIS!!! ***Kina***
There is also a range of Kiwi drinks and snacks available...
The food is fabulous and the service is even better... A lovely family run business where you are welcomed warmly each time you visit...
It does get a little pricey but only due to ordering so much because the food is just soooo good!!
So no matter where you are - If you are looking for some great fish and chips and more I highly recommend you try this place...

This review is for Gino's Pizza, Liverpool NSW

verified email - 13 Aug 2012

On the quest for a tasty pizza we came across Gino's and stopped in to order some takeaway...
Although we caught them pretty close to closing time (8:30pm Sunday) they were very friendly and accommodating, taking the time to run through some of the dishes on the menu with us...
The pizza that I had was fairly tasty but nothing out of the ordinary as far as flavour goes...
The ribs that my other half had looked good and were quite tasty from his account...
The garlic bread was very yummy and had quite a nice 'crunch' and flavour to it...
The real standout about Gino's is the diverse range on their menu... from pizzas, pasta and ribs to roast dinners and chicken dishes...
Not outstanding on the first go but with that range, we will definitely be back and are sure to find something that makes me go 'wow' eventually!!

Approximate cost: $12 - 21

This review is for Piccola Italia Pizzeria, Wattle Grove NSW

verified email - 13 Aug 2012

Staff are friendly and helpful when placing an order and delivering it...
The delivery service here is quite quick but unfortunately not quite quick enough to leave the pizza base as crisp as it should be...
A fair amount of topping on the Supreme pizza but just an average pizza from this place, nothing outstanding flavour wise... They do however make a nice garlic bread!!
The prices are quite reasonable and being in the shopping centre does make Piccola a handy option...

Approximate cost: $12 (Reg) - $23 (family)

This review is for Golden Rose Chinese Restaurant, Moorebank NSW

verified email - 13 Aug 2012

Although I am yet to 'dine in' at this restaurant I must compliment them on their speedy takeaway service...
I have ordered from them on a few occasions now, each being on different days of the week and the wait has only been 20 minutes each time...
They are nice and friendly over the phone when taking your order and just as friendly in person when you arrive to pick it up...
The food is definitely above average for Chinese takeaway with some great flavours that I have not experienced elsewhere!!
I highly recommend the San Choi bow, it is probably one of the most flavoursome variations of the dish that I have experienced...
The Rainbow steak is another delicious favourite and they also do a pretty mean fried rice...
The prices are similar to other restaurants of the same type yet the well flavoured food leaves others in the dust...

Approximate cost: $Av. $13
