Thursday night drinks with a couple of work associates. The place was packed despite it only being 6pm, however we managed to find a table in a corner that we shared some others. Great selection of beers on tap and there is good value if you buy jugs. Very tasty pub-style food - we ordered the chicken burger and pulled pork rolls and they were great. Free food tasting between 6-7pm as well which was a nice surprise. Friendly staff and efficient service.

Enjoyed a family dinner here during a recent trip to Hobart. Decent pub-style food with a good selection of beer & wine. We enjoyed sharing salad, pizza and burgers amongst the four of us. Pleasant decor and friendly staff made for a nice evening out.

We enjoyed a pleasant 2-night weekend here. The staff are very attentive, guest-focussed and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and quiet and we entered to the scent of a perfume candle and light music. There is also a complimentary mini-bar. They offer a peaceful breakfast service in the main restaurant area, and the complimentary cocktails in the evening are a nice touch.
[Warning, if you are using a gift certificate, you have to produce the original when you check-in/out otherwise they will charge you its value until you prove that you have it (even if you quote the certificate number & 'valid until' date). This seemed archaic given the type of resort and caused us some stress during our stay].

Weeknight dinner for two. We shared a couple of starters (Chicken betel leaves & Sweetcorn fritters) and also had the Chinese wok fried eggs (awesome, particularly if you love chili) plus the eggplant curry and mackerel (which was great). Portion sizes were good and we did not feel stuffed despite sharing 5 dishes. It's a pretty noisy spot, but there are quiet tables in the back area. Friendly staff and efficient service on what was a busy night. We'll be back.

Very happy to have this shopping outlet in Bondi Beach. As long time customers at the Bondi Junction store, this new (2014) location has been great for shoppers and the Bondi environment. They sell a fantastic array of fruit & veg, plus meats, breads, confectionery, dairy products, nuts, etc. Fast, friendly & efficient service. Free 1-hour parking if you spend $30 in store. Highly recommended.

Saturday evening dinner for two. We weren't very hungry, so only ordered two mains and two glasses of wine between the two of us. A vegetarian eggplant dish that was lovely but had a lot of chilli in it that overpowered the other flavours and the stewed chicken with apricots, prunes and almonds that was delicious. Both dishes came with a small portion of rice. The air-conditioning was set at a very cold level, even after we asked for it to be turned off or set warmer. There was a Turkish guitarist who was very loud - and while it was nice to hear the other patrons sing along with him, it got the the stage where we left early as it was unpleasant due to the volume (bare concrete floor & walls) and it was difficult to speak across the table. I'd go back for the food, but not if there was live music.
