This review is for Stone Bar & Grill, Melton VIC

Stone Bar & Grill is the place to go and eat in Melton which is just at the east end of High Street just before the Golf Course. Whether it's a Birthday, Christmas, Wedding, Engagement, 18th/21st, Business Conference or just Dining Out to have a break from cooking. My partner and I have birthdays 4 days apart and just before Christmas. We don't usually Dine Out for each Birthday so this year being our 1st time celebrating in Melton, we read the reviews in WOMO and you told us that this restaurant is one of the best in town. They didn't disappoint us. Super friendly staff and the service is awesome. We shared the awesome Garlic Cob (also Herb Cob if you don't like garlic), my partner had the Smokey BBQ Pork Ribs and they were delish, melt in your mouth with the amazing smokey flavours and he ordered Stir-Fried Mixed Veggies, that were yummy. I ordered the Herb Crusted Rack Of Lamb with honey mint jus running through the veggies and the flavours exploded in your mouth, yummo. The only downfall with this meal was that the lamb was quite chewy and I don't know why. I told them about the lamb and I will give it another go next time. We were lucky to get in at the beginning of December due to many people having Christmas parties. There was one huge group there that had Christmas celebrations happening but most other tables seems to be just tables of 4-6 of friends just getting together. Great atmosphere. Check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Don't forget to leave your reviews. Bon Appetit...

This review is for Melton & Bacchus Marsh Taxi Service, Melton VIC

Used Melton & Bacchus Marsh Taxi Service AKA Western District Taxi Service to attend a Xmas function in Southbank, Melbourne. The taxi was booked and arrived at home right on time and pick up was right on time also. Very impressed but the company needs to train their taxi drivers on where main venues are in Melbourne so they aren't wasting time ringing venues for directions. Otherwise quite good service.

This review is for Lube Mobile, Melbourne VIC

Our car broke down while coming home from shopping and luckily we were only 2 kms from home so tow truck took car home. I then called Lube Mobile and it was presumed that a fuel pump was the problem. However, on closer inspection by Lube Mobile (Anthony-Mechanic) it was discovered that the problem was far worse. The timing belt had broken and the crankshaft had broken as well which meant a reconditioned engine was required. Anthony spent time driving to Melbourne to get a part which he thought was needed and came back to replace the fault part only to discover the bigger problem. He could have charged me the full price for costs plus labour but only charged me what he thought we fair. I will be using Lube Mobile again in the future. Well done Lube Mobile. Our Subaru went to the Car Heaven and we now have a new car. I could have been charged a higher price but wasn't. Now that is good!!

This review is for The Cheesecake Shop, Wantirna VIC

I went into this cheesecake shop with my friend to buy a cake for her mother's birthday. On closer observation of the cakes in the display case, we found at least 2 cakes had the beginning of mould on the top of the cakes. I could believe it that staff hadn't noticed that. We walked in and walked out. Someone could get very sick from eating mouldy cake. Icky. I will never go in there again. All of the other Cheesecake Shop I have ever been in I have never come across mouldy cakes and the cakes have always been very fresh. Heathmont Cheesecake Shop has very fresh cakes so we went there to buy a cake instead.

We took up at offer last Xmas (2011) for car tinting at about $195 for the whole car window tinting. Cheap deal i thought so i don't know what sort of a job they will do. Well, we were so impressed with the excellent job they did on our other car that we are getting our new car's back window tinted. Excellent job Tint Professor. Just remember when your car comes home, there are small air bubbles that disappear after about 48 hours to reveal a professional job. 10/10

We stayed at Lorne Bay View Apartments as a Xmas Gift from family...the cooktop knob was wobbly and loose and no indicator around knob to tell the temperature of the solid hotplates and the power point surround was broken which isn't safe...we didn't use the spa bath because there was pubic hair on it...ewww...sliding glass door to balcony had a fault lock and only 2 out of 3 downlights were working...some of the crockery was dirty and we had to wash it before using...a cigarette burn was on the spare blanket in the closet...there was 2 cracks in the bathroom basin...no knife for cutting in the kitchen or a frypan...fridge had a faulty light that flashed on and off...bathroom towel rail was broken on one side so couldn't hang up towels to dry and the bed was as hard as a rock and i have osteoarthritis and i couldn't walk anyway after the first night because of my pain...and we were meant to be there for 3 days but right next door at the pub, renovations were underway and 7am they started banging and clanging and we were looking forward to sleeping in a bit...we left early and went home to our lovely home and comfy bed...we were very disappointed and will not return to this place...very poor for the price of $171 per night

This review is for Kmart, Melton VIC

verified email - 01 Nov 2012

My partner and i were about to go on holidays and our car wouldn't start...the battery was flat...we call roadside assistance and they came and started the car for us...we then purchased a battery from Kmart just in case the battery wouldn't hold charge...we kept the battery in the boot...our old battery seemed to being holding charge so we took the new battery back to Kmart for a refund...when we got to the refunds counter, the lady behind the desk ummed and ahhhed about whether or not we had use the battery and looked for signs of wear and tear...usually new batteries come with plastic caps over the terminals but my partner purchased the new battery with one missing plastic cap and we were accused of using the battery...i was very disappointed in the way we were treated and although i will go to Kmart to shop again, i will be reminding them that i will not be treated poorly again and as a customer i deserve to be treated with respect...as a result of poor customer service we shop in Werribee and Caroline Springs more often now to avoid poor customer service...lift your game Kmart...catch the real crocks not the innocent people...maybe the battery manufactures should put a device on the battery so that when this device is removed then this forfeits a refund...end of problem
