This accommodation is very clean, tidy and has tea/coffee making facilities w/microwave. It has pet-friendly rooms and you must mention your pet is staying with you when you book. Bed is very comfy and although Allawa is basic accommodation, it is very comfortable and the managers are very helpful and friendly. We stayed over Easter 2013 and there was burning off in the area so it was very smoky and the top of the door had a small uneven gap which did let in some of the smoke but otherwise a great place to stay and we couldn't hear any other visitors at all. Good stay!! And a pet-friendly place!! A $15 fee for the dog...

This chemist is up with the best with service and good selection of stock. The service is excellent and I have never had to wait that long compared with a lot of other chemists eg. prescriptions, assistance. Very helpful friendly staffand efficient service.

I am a valued member of the Gloria Jean's Coffee Club and I have been to many GJ Cafes and this one by far is the worst I have seen. Very shabby and dirty. The tables are not cleaned probably and rubbish on the floor. One thing I also noticed on my last visit was that the brass looking top on the benchtop rubbish bin that is for public use near the drinks pickup point is all worn and looks so dirty. One of the casual lowline chairs is so cracked on the vinyl with wear, that if you were to sit on it, you could snag you clothing on it. I notice that last time and I thought maybe it would be replaced this time I went, but to no avail. The new Woodgrove Shopping Complex is being built and I hope they don't take furniture to the new location that has seen better days. Looks is everything when looking for a place to eat. I did notice that they had replaced one of the shabby pictures that was peeling off the wall which was good to see. I ordered a skinny mocha latte and it was weak and not very chocolatey. I will give this GJ's one more go and if it isn't up to the standard of the other great GJ's Cafes I have been to, I will not go there again and spread the word. I hope someone from the business reads this and takes immediate action or this business is doomed.

One word, AMAZING!! All rooms have sparkling clean kitchen with microwave, oven, stovetop, dining area and lounge, cover patio with clean outdoor furniture, sparkling clean bathroom w/shower, toilet & laundry. The decor is very elegant and modern. It had that boutique feel. 2 minutes walk to Mermaid Beach with public transport available most places...AMAZING!! Go see for yourself...

This guesthouse is owned and run family business and the friendliness and hospitality shone through for us compared to "you-are-just-staying-here" attitude of some of the other accommodation we have stayed at. Very homely and clean with a big 2 person spa to relax in room enough for a lounge and bedroom with a comfortable bed that wasn't too hard. A 5 minute walk to Byron Bay for a walk along the sand and a view of Cape Byron Lighthouse. Awesome!! Another bucket list destination. Gorgeous place!!

Decided to eat in for a change with partner in tow. Our order took longer than usual for no apparent reason. The cashier was also more interested in giving assistance to another staff member and didn't apologize for the interruption. She also called everyone "Love" which i can't stand. When in any business, have respect for customers shows in the way you speak to them. A mother and her Autistic son was in the store. The problem started when she didn't even try to control her son. All through our meal was met with screaming, yelling, climbing on furniture and smashing window loud. It was up to staff to approach the mother and ask her to respect other patrons. She was making ANY effort to control her son. If i had an autistic child, i would respect other patrons eating experience and take my child to an area where they can't disturb others and where my child is safe. The school children/teenagers were less noisy and very well behaved. We will never eat in again at Melton Hungry Jack's. The drive thru service is very efficient and friendly, so it is take away from now on. Also there is about 6 parking space available and 2 of those spaces are right near the drive thru traffic. Very dangerous and hard to manoeuver out of.

I have used Woolworths Shopping Online several times and it's convenient with just a small cost for delivery. So it you are busy or ill and can't get to the Supermarket, great idea. The drivers will carry any heavy items inside and come at a time convenient to you. Great service. I have just done at online grocery order and it saved me having to find parking and waiting in lengthy queues.

I have used Coles Shopping Online about 3-4 times and find them to be friendly drivers and they carry heavy items inside and come when they say they will. You have to pay a small delivery charge but nearly every time i have got the exact items or a substitute (if you don't like any items, you just keep your order list and return any unwanted items to any Coles supermarket). It was great to do all my Christmas grocery shopping without all the problem of finding parking and waiting in queues. Great service.
