This place makes the most amazing looking cakes and cupcakes! I've been to one of their cupcake decorating courses and they treat you with respect whilst still teaching effectively. At the end of the day I went home with a lot of beautifully iced (and scrumptious) cupcakes!

Beautiful place to eat. It's always a little quiet and I can't work out why the rest of Hornsby haven't already discovered this place. The food is great - the star attraction is definitely the warm cheesecake for dessert!

Typical pizza/pasta/nachos/light meal place. The food can be fantastic most of the time, and then you'll get a real shocker that makes you wonder if you'd been mistaken the past times you went. Service is generally good.

General cafe/restaurant style food - they always have a nice menu that pleases everyone! The place can sometimes seem a little noisy if you sit inside, but it could also be seen as having a nice buzz. I'm not sure if he's still there because I haven't seen him in a while but they have a singing waiter who is very entertaining

I've gone to this practice basically my whole life and can rely on them to care about you - they see you holistically and not just for the one thing you complain about. The GPs are approachable and the reception staff are friendly (although sometimes appear not to know how to even turn computers on!)

I've been to one of the cooking classes here - it was one of the desserts/arvo tea ones. The couple that ran the course were so beautifully welcoming right from the start. The classes are really interactive and this helps everyone get to know eachother. After preparing the food (and being provided with the recipes and lots of extra tips) we all sat down for a lovely meal to taste and marvel at our creations. It was such a nice day - I can't wait to go back!

Don't be fooled by the name - this place has nothing to do with the red rooster chain of takeaways. This place has the world's greatest chips (I'm talking thick, crinkle cut with their own home-made chicken salt) the chickens are always nice too. And they have really tasty roast veges. It makes me crave it just thinking about this place.

Had a few really great haircuts from a couple of the hairdressers. Each time I went it seemed that the cost went up higher (probably only $5 each time, but after 5 visits $25 added up!) I stopped going as one of my hairdressers left the business and it just got too expensive in the end.

I went with a group of friends for a relaxed dinner. It wasn't that relaxing in the end. One meal had a hair in it, another had some steel wool in it. The food tasted nice enough, but I have huge doubts about the hygiene. One good thing was how the staff dealt with it - gave us a couple of free drinks and replaced the meals. BUT we did have to remind the waitress about the difficulties as we were presented with the bill.

My mum and I enjoyed a relaxing dinner here. It was nicely busy with a few larger groups and the waiter made a point of sitting us away from the crowds. The food was great - very generous serves! poached pear for dessert was great too!
