Spacious garden to wander through. Many mature plants, water features & detailed garden ornaments. Plants for sale. Teahouse provides a lunch menu of reasonable standard & cost.

Nursery plants, mature plants & garden ornaments are very expensive though. Worth the visit for a luncheon or a cup of coffee & wander the grounds. A pleasant atmosphere.

My wife & I attended this restaurant tonight & it was an absolute disaster. The waitress obviously had no idea & appeared to be completely inexperienced.

Firstly, I particularly asked about an entree dish & was assured by the waitress I would be served what I requested. I received nothing like I had requested & had to return it to the kitchen. I ended up not having an entree.

I am allergic to capsicum so we asked the waitress to ensure no capsicum was included in both our main meals. Both these meals turned up with a liberal garnish of sliced capsicum across the food.

I had fish of the day. It was a bland piece of fish, very soft & mushy with a poorly prepared batter. Not impressed. The wife had soup of the day as an entree & she enjoyed that. She had garlic prawns for the main meal & rated that dish as a 5/10. The prawns were very small & nothing like we have been served at other restaurants.

We were charged $5.00 per head corkage for the use of two wine glasses. We were not provided ice or a wine bucket.

We would not return to that restaurant again - even if provided with a free meal.

This appraisal may sound severe but it is the honest truth as to a description of our outing.

I have been a member of the credit society for a period of about 40 years. Joined when it was just the Police Credit Union. It appears they are trying to become too big & as a result their service standards are dropping off. Over the past few months I have had three bad transactions. One, due to an error by the society, I was deducted totals of money, from my account as penalties for my alleged wrong doings. No notice, no phone call, no e-mail just money deducted from my account. I complained & the society spokesperson admitted they were at fault, apologised & refunded the money.

I have had a couple of bad experiences in the past year, as well, but put that down to bad luck. It appears it is more bad service than bad luck.

A handy supermarket that caters well for the local needs. Staff always nice & friendly & helpful.

An absolute shocker! My wife & I dined at this restaurant & the fish I had dished up to me was off. I ate some of it but soon became aware that all was not well, by the taste & smell of the fish cutlets I had.
I complained to staff & I then spoke to the female manager. She argued that my meal was OK & offered no replacement, refund or discount. We actually became involved in a heated discussion in the restaurant, in front of staff & other customers.
I complained that the fish served was not local, but frozen. In answer to this the manager retalliated by saying that the prawns I had with my meal were local - they came from the Northern territory! If the prawns were local, God knows where the fish came from!
Never again would I even set foot inside their door.

We have dined at this restaurant on a number of occasions & have always enjoyed the experience. In a day & age where imported, thawed out fish is regularly dished up, it is a pleasure to be able to get fresh fish.

We regularly dine at this outlet due to the service & quality provided. We have dined at the two other rival fish restaurants in the area but none come anywhere near this place. I would recommend this diner to anyone - as i know they would enjoy the experience.

I recently bought a pair of shoes at this store. I am large & therefore have large feet. I was impressed with the female shop assistant who tended to me. She was very friendly & helpful & went out of her way to assist. Something of a rarity, these days.

The wife & I have been searching the Armadale, & surrounding areas, for a decent fish & chips shop. We have not been satisfied until finding this shop. Both the fish & chips that we have purchased from the shop have been very good. I would happily recommend this fish & chips shop.

Staff very helpful with telephone inquiry - then friendly & helful when I attended & made a purchase. Staff member helped load stock into my vehicle. Overall very friendly & helpful.
