My family and I used to come and eat here for dinner but our last experience was awful. We think there has been a change in ownership because the staff weren't as pleasant and were a bit clueless (when we asked for doggy bags they just left the containers on the table for us to do). The food was expensive, it was smaller quantity than we were used to and everyone left a bit unhappy. I won't be coming back.

A large hotel with fantastic food and several bars with a large outdoor area. The décor is modern, the food and drink prices are cheap for the quality and the staff are lovely. I highly recommend for anyone in the area to try out - it also has underground parking.

The rooftop bar is stunning with great views of the opera house and the harbour. The drinks are relatively cheap in comparison to other venues at the Rocks and the staff are very polite. It is also quite a large space so there were a lot of chairs and tables even though it was quite busy. Highly recommend for some casual drinks or a function.
Beautiful, open hotel with a massive bar and lots of tables and chairs. The drinks are reasonable prices and all the staff - from bar staff to security - were lovely and friendly. The one thing I wished it had more of was music - it seemed to be missing an atmosphere that I think music would provide. Otherwise, it was a great hotel and I'm keen to come back.
My boyfriend and I have come here for dinner a few times and it's always been lovely. The portions are generous and the staff are friendly and fast. The pastas in particular are amazing. Highly recommend for a family dinner or for a special occasion.

My partner and I decided to order takeaway from here when we got a flyer in the mail from them. We were very disappointed. It has an option to order online and we did so, received a confirmation but the food never arrived. When we phoned to find out what had happened the woman on the other end could barely hear us (bad line) and so we had to take the order over the phone. She ended up calling us back on another phone and was condescending, complaining we gave her the wrong phone number to call back on (we explained that she had just misheard us because of the bad line, why would we give her the wrong number?). When the food ended up coming it was average, I think I would have preferred to make my own at home and save the $35 it cost for one pizza and spaghetti bolognaise. We won't be trying them again.

I've had some great nights out at this nightclub which is a bar with pool tables until a little later in the night where it has a dance floor and DJ. It is very small but a lot of fun, and it's a backpacker bar so there is a lot of interesting characters there. The last time I was there I wasn't drinking, so the bartender always made sure I had a glass of water when I came up to the bar, instead of making me wait in line for 15 minutes. It's a great place to have a fun night out and meet new people.
I came here for a friends wedding where both the ceremony and reception was being held, and had a few drinks beforehand with some friends. This place is fantastic. Right on the water, it is very beautiful and tranquil. The bar staff were friendly and joked around with us, and the seating areas were clean, tidy and had enough room to move around, which I find pretty rare at venues like this. The standard of service was exactly what I expected for a yacht club, and I intend to go back the next time I am in town.
A huge Irish pub in Civic. Plenty of seating. The staff are nice and friendly and the place is clean and tidy. I believe they do karaoke here but I haven't participated myself.
This place is fantastic! Newly renovated and modern with a nice twist. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink and were very impressed. We intend to come back for lunch at some point because the restaurant section looks simply stunning.
