I absolutely LOVE this hotel! My boyfriend lived in Canberra when we first started dating so I would book a hotel for the weekend and visit every few months. Through Wotif I got a great deal with the Aria and decided to make it my hotel of choice. The décor is absolutely stunning and the service is fantastic and very professional. It has secure parking facilities and is close to Civic. Can't recommend it enough

I came here with some girlfriends from work for a farewell lunch and was somewhat disappointed. They didn't have a record of our booking so we had to wait for a table to be free, the food took a long time (25 minutes +) to come out, and I didn't realise there would be relish in the burger I ordered which was messy. In saying that, I have wanted to go back (the burger was great besides the relish) and the prices were reasonable for a big meal. I think we just caught them on a busy/bad day because I've heard nothing but good things about them.

A big five-level pub with different atmosphere's on each one (One is a sports bar, nightclub/dancefloor etc). I've had a few good nights and found the service to be excellent. Another thing worth mentioning is that on my 21st birthday a few years ago management reached out to me on Facebook to offer me a drinks voucher and a birthday cake if I celebrated there. When I advised I lived interstate and couldn't take up the offer they gave me the drinks voucher anyway. A really lovely gesture and makes me think of the place fondly.

This is a fantastic huge pub in Canberra with massive indoor and outdoor sections. I was with a group of people and we did not stay long but the service was excellent, the drinks were well priced and served well and the outdoor section under an umbrella on a nice warm day was really refreshing

Love this pub - it is very big and has a lot of spots to sit, as well as a huge outdoor area. Because of Canberra's laws there is no smoking in the outdoor section so it can actually be pleasant. They have live music playing which is awesome because the crowds sing along, dance and make for a great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced but it's sometimes hard to get to the bar because of crowds. I've only eaten there once but it came out at a reasonable time and was delicious.

The food here is amazing, love it. The last few times I've been here it's been with a group so the food has been served in share platters with lots of dips and bread. I've always left here stuffed and happy, in particular, I love their hommus and chili dips, and I always buy some to take-away.

A decent little pub with standard pub drinks at reasonable prices. A lot of places to sit which was nice. Nothing really stood out as amazing but I'd be happy to go back and enjoy a drink there in the future.

Stopped in here for a quick drink and a little lunch on a nice Saturday lunchtime. My boyfriend had a burger and I had spring rolls. Both were great and very filling. The drinks were on par with normal pub prices and it was a nice and clean establishment. Happy to go again if we were ever in that part of town.

My work gave me a voucher at Christmas to use at any Merivale venue so some friends and I decided to try El Loco. I booked a table but it was extremely hard to get in contact - I called a total of 6 times and it took 3 days to confirm the booking, ridiculous. My mates and I stuck to drinks but ordered some chips which we had to go and find because they never showed up to our table. The drinks were nice but I thought expensive given the size and quality. I had an OK time and so did my friends but I don't think I'd be going back without a voucher, and we ended up leaving because of the price and the music which was nightclub loud in a place with no dancefloor so it was just irritating. One thing I did love is that the courtyard is huge, and it was never crowded or too hard to get a drink, and the decoration of the place is fun and vibrant.

I LOVE this shopping centre! The biggest Westfield I've been to with hundreds of different shops over about 6 levels. Great variety in the food court. Only drawback is the parking - like most shopping centres it's best to get there as early as you can.
