I was debating whether to book the flights for my next holiday myself or not but i was in my local shopping centre and there was a flight centre there so i thought i'd pop in and see what they could offer. I had found a quote online and i went in asking if they could beat it. I spoke to Andrew who assured me they could beat any quote, which he did. He then went ahead and sorted all the rest of my holiday out in about 20 mins. it was all very pain free and the follow-up service was amazing, he even arranged all my seating on every flight. I will definitely be using Andrew again the next time I decide to plan a holiday.

I was having a cheapskate night tonight and only went here for the monday $5 steak. Obviously they draw you in with a cheap meal so that you spend your money on the alcohol, thats fine but i think that how ever cheap the meal is, it has to be good or their won't be any customer return. The steak was small and bland and really needed a spray of BBQ flavour. the venue is great though, very warm, homely and cluttered with various hipster artefacts. how did they get away with that fire hazard of a straw roof though? the crowd was typically young Surry Hills, it was pretty busy and had a good vibe with pumping music so i will go back again on a more affluent night.

Approximate cost: $5

this is the second time i have been to this restaurant and that is pretty unusual for me because i always like to try new places, but i went back a second time because this place ticked many boxes. the food is delicious and reasonably priced if you are with a group and want to share from the grazing menu. the wine is very reasonably priced. the service was very attentive both times. the only thing that was lacking was a bit of atmosphere, this restaurant should be busier, it's one of the best on oxford street.

This is by far the best restaurant in Sydney. The food is to die for. You have to try the empanadas (made by the mother who has been making them for 40 years) so good!! the seared tuna, mouth watering!! the entrana (skirt steak) this is a Kobe steak the like of which you have never tasted in your life and you wont find it anywhere else in Australia of this quality because it all gets shipped off to japan. then there are the dishes everyone comes for. the pig and lamb have been cooking on an open fire all day and are ready to go when they open the doors at 6pm. the one dish you have to try tho is the crispy friend Brussels sprouts, you will be amazed. the service is friendly and attentive and they are all drop dead gorgeous:) the atmosphere is rocking every night. why would you want to spend a night anywhere else.

Approximate cost: $35
