A small little cafe with GREAT, super friendly service.
Awesome coffee, yummy toasted foccacias (highly recommend the vegetarian) and tasty biscuits.
You won't be disappointed, but be prepared to wait a little during the morning rush. They open at 6:30am to give the trades their morning coffee fix, then the mums and prams come after school drop off.

Tahune air walk was beautiful.
Peaceful, lovely views. We took kiddies along and we found it safe and they had a fantastic time.
Picnic facilities were available.
Take a camera because the views are amazing!

Amazing views, fresh, home made scones on arrival, gorgeous clean little cottage- what more can you ask for?!
This cottage is a B&B with charm.
Lovely owners, very helpful.
They have sheep and goats that we fed with the kids, a private beach with a BBQ, tables and chairs ready to use at your leisure.

From Beaupre we had an easy drive to Hobart for Salamanca Market, across for the day to Tahune Airwalk, Kettering for a ferry ride over to Bruny Island for the day.
So, yes, we used this gorgeous cottage as a base to see southern Tasmania - and it was great!

Wonderful, friendly owners of a beautiful, practical and clean premises. Laundry facilities, BBQ facilities and neat,warm, clean little units.
We were pleasantly surprised when we found these guys.

I have done this trip both ways a few times now. I have 2 small children that have also joined me. We have found the cabins to be comfortable and warm to sleep, cot provided by the spirit for the baby very suitable. food is expensive but tasty.

The online booking system is wonderful. This trip I changed my sail dates numerous times over the weeks leading up to the trip at no charge. Very handy, and easy to use.

A new 'unfinished' feel to the place, The Rose has great atmosphere, brilliant table service, a menu like no where else at reasonable prices. Steed and Ash have done a brilliant job pulling this venue together. Looking forward to going back- thanks for a great dining experience!
