We were a little disappointed upon arriving as we were told we could only go round in a group of 5 maximum...and there were 6 of us hoping to catch up socially while golfing - so we went in 2 groups of 3. The course was fun though and it was something different to do in Perth. Plus the balls and clubs are supa-sized so you actually have a chance at hitting something!
We took 3 children (aged 4, 2 and 1) there and it was a rainy day so luckily they had plenty of opportunity to pet the rabbits and guinea pigs without too much competition. Unluckily it was pouring when they tried to feed the lambs or walk round the outside area but I think on a nice day it would keep most children busy for half a day.

I'd been meaning to visit for years but I stupidly visited before all the flowers had come out. However, the grounds are still picturesque (but very hilly and difficult with a pram) and it's very cheap to get in considering how well maintained everything is.

The Blender is both an art gallery and a workshop so they hold some interesting seminars/ courses to learn new skills. If you're a budding artist membership fees and gallery hire fees are reasonable and they hold 4 members exhibitions a year where you can enter a piece for sale. If you're an art lover this is a small gallery that supports local artists and gets involved in community activities.

We met a group of friends here to play mini-golf initially which was great fun, although the felt is a bit tatty on the courses. We went back recently to have a stroll round the gardens and was disappointed to find they charge (when you can walk round the botanic gardens in Kings Park for free). Haven't tried the cafe there (Leap frogs I think).

Such a quiet, out of the way little restaurant but the food is lovely. First time we went I had the chicken stuffed with camembert and it was a huge serving. Took my family who were visiting from Scotland here a couple of months later and tried the Barramundi, which was also lovely and too much for me to finish. Have since been told the chef here had won some good medallion award. If this is true it was well deserved.

This medical centre bulk bills and also has paid appts available on a Sunday, which is great if you have children who become ill and don't want to wait at the hospital. However our last visit was for our child who we suspected had measles and was told dismissively it was a non contagious virus. Turns out it was highly contagious which proceeded to infect everyone. I suppose it depends on which Dr you get as some have been really fantastic and thorough.

Used to eat here a lot but hadn't been there in over a year (as we had a baby) and I was a bit disappointed as the price of my favourite meal (Coconut battered fish) had gone up. Also we waited a while to be seated even though it wasn't busy and when the meal arrived it wasn't very hot and had very few vegetables. Still a nice cafe-style atmosphere though and prices are probably comparable with most restaurants.

Had been told about Little Caesars out at Mundaring and that it made 'the best pizzas ever' but too far to drive so was interested when they opened in Leederville. I had the continental and it was really yummy and tastes so much better than pizzas from the home delivery chains. I only had a small for lunch and I suppose $12 is a lot to spend on lunch if you're eating there every day but I think it was good value as a treat.

I had heard amazing things about the practitioner and needed osteopathy but was disappointed. Instead of treating my lower body condition or explaining how the treatment i received would help he stuck needles in my neck and back, left me alone for 20 minutes then twisting my neck so hard so I couldn't move for a week. Then told me we'd need 'lots of sessions' and charged me $110 while popping out to treat 3 other patients at the same time. I went back twice more and was no better off physically. Might work for some people and if you like a relaxing acupuncture session but I think it made my condition worse.
