Every time I go to John's shop the service is outstanding and John and his staff are very helpful.I drive out of my way to go there but I live near Bunningyong and the supermarket stock some of his meats too so I often buy from them. The meat is of high tasty quality and his produce is free range so I can eat one of my favorite meats pork and bacon and know the piggy wasnt in a cruel living standard ( John sources western plains pork) which is very important. This butcher, in my opinion, is the best and worth paying a little extra for.

This is my favorite restaurant in Ballarat. My partner and I take friends there often and the response is always the same; Cant believe how good vegetarian can taste! The drinks are so moreish too.The atmosphere is serene and calming and the owners and family are friendly and also very calming. Turn off your mobile phone and have a cup of tea and a tasty meal, try the mock duck it tastes like duck and the soy nuggets are delish, you will go back.

I had one of the yummiest chicken toasties here and went back for more but the coffee wasn't great and the cafe staff not friendly on both occasions. I bought one of my favorite tops from here, it was discounted, otherwise I probably wouldn't have because the clothes are expensive. Mind you they do stock different clothes from other boutiques and interesting gifts. The cafe is a bit chilly though.

I have been going to this cafe since it opened. I love their collection of cds and the atmosphere is relaxing and cosy the music they play is enjoyable and appropriate for a cafe. The coffees are consistently good and the food is scrumptious! The staff are friendly and professional. I wish I lived closer.
