AbeBooks is fantastic for hard to find and out of print books. Their customer service is fantastic and orders always quickly.

This is a perfect web site for people who are avid readers as their prices are very cheap but the best thing is that they ship to Australia Free Of Charge which is a great saving.

I recently ordered a book from this company and did not receive my order in the advertised period. My email querying delivery was promptly answered. They were very apologetic and promptly dispatched another copy which was received in the next few days. They did not tell me to wait or find excuses, but quickly resolved the problem. I find this very refreshing as whenever this has happened in the past with other companies (albeit infrequently), I have been told to wait longer, or told that maybe the item would eventually turn up and to contact them again in a few weeks. Very satisfied customer!

A really great resource for second hand books. If there is something that you need to get your hands on but is out of print, this website is the best. They source their books from second hand dealers all over Australia. Just be careful to read the conditions of the book carefully before you buy.

They are hard to beat. Other book sites just do not compare to these guys. They found my quite obscure book second hand in America and i received it very quickly. You just can't fault them.

An great book service. A user friendly site with a exceptional range, especially good when looking for a hard to source book. The bookshops that I have dealt with through this site have been helpful and given good service and advice.

Abebooks sources books from around the world, both new and secondhand. It's an easy to navigate website and the search function is quick, listing all matches with their prices. You actually deal with the bookseller, not with Abebooks, and postage costs vary dramatically (if they ship to Australia at all), so be sure to factor this in before committing to buy any books. I have, on occasion, contacted a seller who did not advertise as shipping out of the US and asked if they would send a book to me here in Oz and they were only to happy to oblige, so don't necessarily be put off if they don't ship internationally.

I tried to purchase a book on line through another major bookseller . After 1 month wait I discovered that the book would not be available for a further 6 months. I checked Abebooks found qood quality secondhand secondhand copy. This was sent same day and recived the next day all at a better cost.

Approximate cost: $20
