Ahmets Turkish Restaurant

CONSISTENTLY one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. I love turkish food so I gave Ahmet's 3 tries thinking that they would improve... failed every time. No more chances from me. It's a shame because the food is actually good - that is if you get served the dish that you ordered!

I read something somewhere before I went to this place. Not very impressed but not too bad neither. You should go if you never had Turkish food...

Love the decoration of that restaurant. Good food. It has won a few awards. Good price and location.

I recommended this place to a friend for her going away dinner a couple of weeks ago after we couldn't get into the restaurant we wanted and after reading a review here on WOMOW. The group of us had a great dinner and an entertaining experience with the belly dancer. Whilst it was a bit pricier than expected, the entertainment and great food made it worth it! I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.

We went to Ahmet's on an early Sunday evening (6 pm) and we didn't have a reservation. As it was already a bit chilly outside we asked if we could sit close to the BBQ area/ kitchen, which is an integral part of the restaurant. Although that particular table was reserved already it was no trouble at all for the friendly staff to accommodate our wishes and we got the table. The menu is quite extensive and has genuine turkish cuisine on offer. Our food came in a timely fashion and tasted wonderful, especially the barbequed meats. Leave some room for the excellent baklava for dessert. Although slightly on the pricey side we had an excellent experience and I am looking forward to going back to Ahmet's.

The atmosphere was very traditional Turkish, with great decor and attention to detail. There was live entertainment in the form of traditional Turkish music. The food was fantastic, the traditional Turkish cuisine was very nice.

this restaurant has great food, great entertainment and the waiters and waitresses are always very friendly and approachable. i will definitely dine there again in the near future.

The atmosphere is great, you almost believe you might be in Turkey. Comfortable seating, good food and service that wasn't too bad. No toilets in the restaurant mean you have to go outside and a few doors down. I went during lunch so I missed out on the belly dancing but I would be tempted to go back to have the full experience.

The food here is great, the decor fun but the service can be a bit slow. Good for a fun night out with a group of friends especially if you are happy to wait. The belly dancer is always fun to watch (Fri and Sat only).

the food was yummy and the decorations exhilirating but the service was only ok, very slow to serve the dishes perhaps because it was too busy. but go on a friday or sat night for bellydancing!

Service is usually quite terrible but the food is yummy and great for sharing with a group of people. Can be very busy and noisy. Heavily decorated in a Turkish style.

Excellent authentic Turkish cuisine. Complete with atmosphere and decor to match. Belly dancers for functions and fri and sat nights add to the appeal, u might even be lucky during the week if theres a private party requesting one. The dips and turkish bread are to die for and the assorted platters are very filling
