So we had our wedding party on Saturday night with 40 people.. confirmed catering just a couple days before and they still DIDNT SHOW UP. Words cannot explain how angry we are and I don't understand how staff can be so incompetent. Based on other reviews I have now read, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The most unprofessional of all catering services I have both hired and attended. They were late, hard to get hold of, we didn't receive all that we paid for, what we did get was terrible. Not one person at our event was satisfied. The response from the owner was 'Ah well this happens sometimes'.

Avoid this company if you want a successful function with happy guests. Whilst the phone and email staff were very good, the food was not what we ordered or paid for. After replying to an online survey sent by the company, we received a reply advising we would hear back from them within 5 working days. That was 3 weeks ago. We have also sent a formal letter of complaint 3 weeks ago to which we have not received a reply. The pics and descriptions on their website is nothing like what was received which is false advertising. Our agreed written proposal was for a chef to be in attendance. The staff person was late because she to stopped at a roadside stall to purchase her own fruit and veg. Like other spit roast companies, the expectation was for the meat to be carved whilst being served. It was served in a bain-marie, the beef slopping around in a liquid supposedly to be gourmet gravy. Normally the gravy is served separately in a jug or an appropriate container. There was not enough Cranberry or Apple sauce, or sour cream for the number of guests. The salads were of a terrible standard. The coleslaw was mainly red cabbage and quite bitter, hardly any apple in the Waldorf salad, very little else but large dark leaves of lettuce in the tossed salad and the carrot supreme was tasteless. The bean salad was ok, out of a tin. The bread rolls were were very dry, not baked fresh as we were told. The desserts - cheesecake and fruit salad. The cheesecake was cut into very small squares, barely a mouthful each and the fruit salad was out of a tin, quite simply not anywhere near enough for our 55 guests. This was for a Christmas function and certainly not suitable as promised. We received lots of complaints from our guests with many demands for a refund. We have not heard a word. For a National company common sense says they would want to keep customers and have repeat customers but their after sales care only seem to want to know if there is something positive to say about them. Check out other reviews and you will see I'm far from the only unsatisfied customer who will never use them again. If they treated the complaint properly and professionally with pride maybe would give them a 2nd chance. Our guests will not recommend this company neither. Sad to see a company with so much potential treat their customers in this way.

Hired to cater our wedding we had written menus for guests but half of our order was missing so no desserts. They forgot butter squares for bread, gravy etc. I called the company for weeks but they weren't interested in resolving the matter with me. I was extremely embarrassed on my wedding day. The bartender was the only cost I was happy to pay for. I certainly would advise against using them for any function. They were happy to take my money upfront but certainly weren't happy to discuss them not honouring our agreement. It was so very disappointing as we quite often host large events and not many companies travel to our area.

Unfortunately I see several bad reviews below and I'm adding ours to my list. My 50th Birthday party, months in the planning ... and the food was horrible. It was tasteless, seemed old and reheated. It was something I could have done better myself just buying from Aldi. No where as good as even Costco. While I was grateful not to have shopped and heated and served food, and there was enough of it, the quality was embarrassing. The staff were .5hr late and I had to prompt the bartender to go around and serve drinks. The waitress was fine and the food was at least hot. Glad my ovens and microwave works. $1300 for 12 platters. Terrible value in the end. Sadly, I would not recommend this company.

Sadly I was very embarrassed at what my guests were served as what was my thank you to them. The chef had 2 hours in a fully equipped kitchen to final prep and cook ( I have no idea what that entailed but I was told the chef only needed 1 hour) 8 hot platters of finger food. Food came out slowly when she said it was ready but some trays were cold and skewers were raw inside. Pizza appeared over cooked but cold.

Please call your state branch re this issue we do over 100 parties a week for last 26 years and we want our clients to be delighted we need to investigate what chef agency sent us and how pizza can be overcooked and cold strange

I was very disappointed with the overall quality of the food. Whilst the staff were helpful and friendly in receiving, confirming and delivering my order.. It all went down hill after that.
The mini pizza plater was horrible, and the pizzas were so dark and over cooked, that you couldn't even identify the ingredients on top. The company delivered the incorrect dessert plater, which I didn't not notice until after the driver had left.
What was most disappointing was the follow up service after my function. I completed a feedback email with my feedback and concerns, and received no reply. I even rang up, and was told the lady who deals with complaints has been off sick, and will reply upon her return. Nearly 2 weeks later and no phone call from anyone??
Firstly I am owed a refund of the difference from the dessert plater I paid for, and the one actually delivered. Secondly, if you want my feedback in one of your automated emails after the job is completed, than All Suburbs needs to take the time to read these and at least provide a response to their customers.

I wasn't impressed with the food or customer service and definitely would not be recommending All Suburbs to any family or friends.

We try hard be perfect with over 250 functions a week some times we might make an error please call head office for the 9.00 diffrence in platter mistake and 1 free platter of your choice with your next order for free valued at $89 we want our clients to be happy thank you for your valuable feed back

How about you call me back, as a valued customer? I rang head office twice before leaving this crappy review, and no one could help me, rather they took a message and said "someone will ring me back".

A free player of my choice... Mmmm don't think I'll be ordering with your company again. Thanks but no thanks.

Jeff is in charge of the whole company, if you read the most recent reviews they are all 5* I imagine Jeff trying to lift his ratings putting fake reviews. If anyone wants to know the real reputation of the company ring up Jeff and be Ask a few questions and give it a min and wait for the abuse to follow! An absolute pig of s man and just waiting for someone else to record and give to aca so they can finally run a story on him

I like to give credit where its due. I have my husband 80th birthday. Food delivered right on time. Booking staff and party planner were very nice and helpful for assisting in the menus and ideas. Food was excellent, all the oldies enjoy it very very much, The Pavlova - wow the compliment to the Chef on this!! 11 out of 10. No negative, some guest even want to take home some food. So much food for a good price.
Pity, no flyers or business card were given, I have to keep telling guest to google the site and give the phone number.
WELL DONE STAFF AT ALL SUBURB CATERING. Will book again for every occasion for sure. Ohh Thank you for the promotional Tray and bowl with the business name on it, I show the contact details whenever someone asked as they were impressed with the food and the amount of food.

I would not recommend these caterers because although staff were very nice, the food was very ordinary and not enough of it for 70 guests. I did not like the cueing style for my guests, most being 60plus and quite able to serve themselves sensibly. Quite disappointing really considering my organisation and anxiety about the event. The queuing was totally unneccessary because I had 4 extra nice tables spaciously set up for my guests and I expected the food to be attractively laid out on them so they could serve themselves. We certainly didnt have a $29.95 serve each. I was quite embarrased.

Started off well, booking was easy, but then after we paid invoice I got a call 2 days before the event to say we couldn't hire the BBQ as we didn't have staff hired, even though I had already paid for it and at no time during the booking months earlier and confirmation over a week before event was this mentioned. The on day of event when food was delivered there were items missing, it took lots of phone calls and 3 deliveries to finally get everything we ordered. We weren't advised that the salads would be delivered in plastic bags and that we would have to provide the bowls to serve them up in. Still waiting for a refund of overpayment due to BBQ hire, now 2 weeks after event and still no sign of the money despite several emails and phone calls. Wouldn't recommend them at all as they lack customer service. Food was ok but service is non existent.
