My company, a boutique mortgage brokerage in Melbourne, has been using Alltel's services for nearly 3 years. When our clients call, and our customer service team is busy on the phone, Alltel helps to provide a "Live Answering" service which maintains our professional image by answering our client's calls in a timely manner. Those messages are then promptly sent to me via email, where I can forward to the appropriate person or action myself, ensuring no one is left waiting for a return phone call. The best thing about this service is that it can quickly be tailored to meet the individual needs of my business by sending off a one or two line email. I can for example say, could you change our live answering to note that we are in a team conference all day and your phone call will be returned after 5pm today and therefore no client's calls will go unreturned. The fax to email service, allows our business to have all incoming faxes sent to the one email address where they can be monitored, ticked off and forwarded to the appropriate person. This often eliminates the need to print faxes unnecessarily and saves us time and money. We've been with Alltel for over 2 years and couldn't be happier. Speedy, local service that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and with great product choices there is something for every business type. We initially engaged Alltel's services to provide our business with a 1300 number, because we were initially operating our business from a home office, and I spent a lot of time out of the office, it was critical that I maintained a competitive edge by have a live person take any missed calls and pass them directly onto me via both text and email. We have grown our business substantially over the past 3yrs and now operate from an office/warehouse with full time office staff. I was tempted to cancel the live answering service when we first made the move into our new business premises, however I have found that maintaining the live answer service has paid for itself as calls are never missed 24/7. I can use the service after hours to filter important calls, and return selected calls. We have been using Alltel for several years now and find that we can work effectively and without stress, knowing that if we cannot answer calls when we are busy, that Alltel will take care of them and we don't lose business. Alltel prompt us to make changes to our services at holiday times so that their staff can answer appropriately. The 1300 phone number and diversion means that we have a professional number and calls come through to my mobile phone. That way I can answer enquiries where ever I am. This is vital as I am out of the office for so much of the time. We hire Alltel as our receptionist when we are not in.
