The venue and gardens are spectacular. The interior is breathtaking. All staff are incredibly helpful and the chef will meet all your dietary needs whilst ensuring the food is delicious. I can highly recommend having your wedding at this venue, you will it be disappointed.

We had a school luncheon here this week and I was very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The food was classic and tasty and very well presented. The beverages were of good quality and the setting really lovely. Reasonably priced as well! Thankyou. We had a lovely day

Great little venue and a great place for a reception. Classy and stylish with friendly staff. Food is delightful and although can be small and cramped if too many people attend, still a great place for receptions.

I had my wedding reception here, and like most brides I worried about whether everything would go okay, and if the guests will like the place and food. I needn't have been concerned.

First, all the staff in the lead up to the wedding were extremely helpful and professional. They didn't get impatient with my endless barrage of emails and questions, and were always happy to help with anything we asked. The great thing was that there were no hidden extras. Things like candelabras, seat covers and sashes were all included in the price unlike some venues.

Secondly, in one of the earlier pre wedding meetings after we booked, the coordinators gave us some great advice and business cards which we took on board. The band they recommended was FANTASTIC. and they also gave business cards and advice for things like the Wedding cake, photographers and make up. They also recommended a fantastic dance instructor and we did our lessons at the venue. We had so much fun and the help was all very much appreciated.

On the day, the set up looked amazing and the staff were so supportive and incredible. The grounds were lovely and although we didn't have too many intentions on having photos in the rooms (before the reception commenced), once the photographer got started, he couldn't stop. The bridal suit was gorgeous and it was a great place to sit and relax and chat with the bridal party before the function.

I can't thank them enough. They weren't pushy or impatient when I had to delay things like the first dance etc because I was talking to guests. They just allowed the day to be ours.

As if things couldn't get better, and then the food came out. While I was too nervous to eat myself, what I did eat was great and my guests are still talking about how good the food was and how it was the first wedding they came away feeling satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food at a wedding. The trio of desserts was sublime!

The venue itself was gorgeous and historical, which was why we chose it in the first place, and there were a lot of people who were difficult to please at that wedding (and many I didn't even know) and they all raved about it. No one complained - miracle. "Flawless" and "Amazing" were just two of the words guests used to describe this place.

The beverage upgrade was also well worth the extra spend as people loved the wine - though I'm not a drinker myself. It was also good that they allowed us to put our own bottle of spirits on the table - many venues we spoke to do not allow that.

Overall, we had a great experience with Ascot House and I couldn't recommend it enough. I guarantee that you are in good hands if you choose this place. I hope I can come back as a guest one day so I can truly enjoy the experience!

Approximate cost: $150 People on a Saturday night = $20,000 + depending on the menu. We chose the four course menu and

We chose Ascot House for our wedding and lunchtime reception and we were so pleased that we did. The team were very helpful in assisting us tailor an event package appropriate to our needs, and gave us great tips based on their past experience.

The grounds were beautiful, we had a lovely garden ceremony and a fantastic lunch in the grand ballroom. The staff took great care of us and we had a wonderful, memorable day. We also received numerous compliments from our guests regarding the beautiful venue, the friendly staff, the promptness of meal service and how delicious all the food was (especially the tasting plate of desserts!).

The Ascot House team were a pleasure to work with for our special day and we would not hesitate in recommending them to others for any sort of event.

Ascot House was a beautiful location for our wedding and dinner reception. The house and grounds were very victorian and grand. The food was fantastic, and the staff were very attentive throughout the night, and really looked after us. The pre-dinner canapes were absolutely delicious, and they catered quite well for the vegetarians. Overall it was a fantastic night, and we were really happy that we chose Ascot House for our wedding day.

I have been to 3 wedding there. Beautiful reception room and gardens are very pretty. The food was delicious, drinks kept coming out, staff are friendly too. With the menu, you get what you pay for, 2 of the wedding had a great menu and more expensive food options. One wedding was a budget wedding and that menu was not very interesting.

I have attended two weddings here. Both had great food although at one wedding, we were not allowed in at the specified time and had to wait outside (as the inside waiting room was full) in the freezing cold. In addition, they cleared the tables of napkins before desert was served and served the fruit platters while people were eating their mains still.
