Twice I have been here and had a fair wait. I haven't had the unpleasantness others have had thank goodness. The line was long and almost out the door the 2 times I have been here. Bought some cute mushroom shaped salt and pepper grinders last time I was here with a friend paying her bills. We went back to get something else and the line was still long so we used the automated self serve computers on the side. Was out of there in a minute. Shop is well stocked.service is slow though I agree. Grinders were $9.95 each and red and one blue. So,cute

Having read the other reviews I realise I am certainly not alone in my opinions. I try and avoid going here, but when I have, I always have to wait AGES to be served, then the girls behind the desk are too busy chatting with each other or a mate to actually serve you properly. Last week I went in asking them to send a fax for me, the girl went to do it, then came back and said to me 'what are you looking at?' I said I was waiting for send confirmation, she told me they were busy and I had to move to the side. A bit of friendly customer service would go a long way in that place.

Trying to put a positive spin on the place, they have a good selection of envelopes in the shop. :/

I have to say that this has to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had in a PO. I've been here a few times, and it's never been that great but it was abysmal yesterday! I only wanted a book of stamps, and I had to wait for more than 10 minutes! The staff all seemed asleep or talkative, with each other! They didn't seem to care that there were a lot of customers. When I got to the front of the queue, the person looked at me, and then put up a sign to say they were on a break! I had another 4 minute wait and ended up leaving. Whatever happened to customer service? And a smile wouldn't hurt you either! Not friendly or welcoming! There does seem to always be an issue with parking here too, as they only have a limited amount of spaces near by. I won't be rushing back here anytime soon.

I dread going here! The personal there are so rude and stressed out. I hear this from quite a few people. Yes they are busy, but at the same time be thankful you have a job. These people need some lessons on how to deal with public/customers or get another job. I must admit they need another Australia Post in the area the nearest one is at Burpengary.

I agree; have you tried the one on King Street? The staff are a bit friendlier there, it is still very busy though :(

The service in this shop is the worst I have experienced, the personnel there are very rude and have no idea of what customer service is all about. They always seem to be so angry. Yes they are very busy but so are other shops and they show patience etc towards there customers. I think I'll try Caboolture or Burpengary I'm done with that shop. I also got some passport photos which, when I looked at them at home looked like they were more suited for a Halloween photo shoot. I would like to take them back but am worried that I won't have any luck in having them changed.

Approximate cost: $14
