This is not my local PO but I've been in a few times now and compared with other POs I go to I find the service a lot more helpful and friendly here. They will patiently help if you're dealing with something a bit tricky and there is parking close by. I've ranked the value for money a bit lower because I consider that Australia post overcharge for postage especially on parcels, but that's an issue I have with Aust Post, not with this particular PO

The service is great, people is nice. They always help you to solve complicated issues in the post office. Very great place and people. It's a easy assessible place.
Bruce and Kerry that run the Upwey Post Office are really lovely and friendly. I hear a lot of stories about people having problems with the people working in their local Post Office, but at Upwey they are always so lovely.

Just a suggestion with postage ... Perhaps if you buy pre paid satchels from aust post to send items that might work out cheaper than sending a boxed parcel? I have found those satchels very handy, they come in different weight allowance eg 500g & 3kg maximum from memory
thanks for your comment, I use a lot of Click n Send prepaid stachels and yes they do work out cheaper but even so sometimes the cost of the item being sent and postage is nearly the same. If the item cant be sent as a letter then parcel post costs are steep and it would be good to have an option for parcels up to under 500 gms like there used to be. cheers
