Balfours

love my Balfours and I bee-line here every visit to Marion. Highly disappointed today with a coffee that tastes like hot milk and a custard tart which should never have been served on a plate. Not happy staff, very sad to see.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and enjoyed a pie and a cup of coffee. Order was delivered promptly. Tables cleared quickly too.

Enjoyed a coffee and a caramel slice here while clothes shopping (unsuccessfully) yesterday. As usual the coffee was just right and the slice was indulgent. Not sure if this store is still SA owned but it definately has SA heritage.

Great place for the family to stop and have a sweet treat or snack. Nice cakes and coffee or milkshakes and pies etc. Light meals and snacks.

Back to Balfours for an iced coffee. They make the most decadent iced coffees. No other cafe can match them. Also available are light meals, hot and cold, and coffee etc. Another great spot to enjoy. SA once upon a time

We had a visit to the Balfours cafe for donuts and a chocolate milk shake. The small people enjoyed their snack and so did the adults. Always a good spot to choose for a break, a sit down and something to eat. A great selection to choose from.

Can't do wrong at this place.

Today was designated "finish Christmas gift shopping" so we were at Westfield Marion to accomplish some of this shopping. Lunch was at Balfours Cafe where I enjoyed a sausage roll, custard tart and a very nice iced coffee. This rather unhealthy lunch was the highlight of my day. Nice old fashioned food and friendly staff.

After looking in all the stores for a birthday present for granddaughter we definately needed a sit down and a drink. My husband had the most decadent iced coffee (so much cream etc) and I had a reviving mug of coffee. Well placed on ground floor and has great selection of desserts. Mouth watering but resisted.

Just bought a couple of takeaway sausage rolls here. When eaten at home they were eaten eagerly by the grandchildren. A quick and easy snack after shopping. Always a good purchase from here

Like having a pie, pastie or sausage roll here when I am at Westfield Marion at a meal time. Also enjoy their dessert selection with a cup of coffee. Nice to see the Balfours name around again.

Staff are always friendly, although on Thursday night they have juniors there who don't seem to know what they are doing. I can't say I've tried a lot from here, but the carrot cake is fantastic. The slicing of the cake however is very inconsistent - seems to depend on who's cutting it. You can buy it by the slice or a whole cake if you like. Yum.

I often go there for their special, coffee and raisin toast. Sometimes I meet my friend who also like the same. A friendly place for a chat.

if your on the run these guys are great ,there quick and serve you you quickly and food is fresh and yummy,and reasonably priced

we had great service, the people were friendly and were very helpful. we went for morning tea they were busy but still took their time for us.

I have always loves balfours! they do some great pastries, and sweets! i especially enjoy the donuts! definitely have grown up enjoying this food, and suggest it to anyone feeling a hunger pain growing!

The staff can make a sandwich with all the fillings and extras you choose at relatively good prices. Afternoon specials are great when the 'leftover' premade wraps, sandwiches, cakes, etc go on special. Love the chocolate donuts.
