This is a great spot to visit both for strawberries and preserves. You can pick your own for a small fee or just choose a few of the wonderful jams and preserves that are on sale here. Great family activity.

We took some visitors there for the first time a few months ago and it was very enjoyable, pay a per person entry to strawberry patch (think it was $4) and provided with a punnet to pick your strawberries and then pay per kilo.

Great selection of things to try in store and we bought everything we tried as it was so yummy. Shop a little on the small side but only because it was so busy and we had a pram. If you were there at a quieter time there would be more than enough room.

The yummiest strawberries I have ever had! Had to pay for everyone going into the patch and this included two people who only walked in tot eh edge and then stayed in the shade of the trees as they had newborns so that was a little disappointing.

A beautiful place that is a must visit if your going to Hahndorf! They have beautiful local produce and gifts with plenty to look at. Also you can pick your own strawberries! When we went it was a very busy saturday afternoon so we decided against it but will most certainly be picking our own strawberries next time!

Always a delight coming to this one.
Whether it's for strawberry picking when in season or if it's just to browse the rows and rows of condiments, you'll always come away with a smile on your face.
Love the basket full of the little jars for $1. Can usually make a nice pick and mix pack as gifts and it's a good present for overseas visitors for them to sample a range of produce.

Approximate cost: $avg

A great tourist attraction and fun to pick your own strawberries, for something a bit different. We didnt pick our own, but enjoyed looking at all the jams, spreads etc. in the store. All very nicely presented and neat and clean premises.
Very busy on a Sunday, but well worth a visit, especially to show interstate or overseas visitors a bit of SA. And set in a beautiful part of the state, near Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
Prices are not cheap, but the quality and presentation is very good and make great gifts.

I went here with my family, I didn't pick any of the strawberries but they did taste great. Great place for tourists too.

Have been here a few times. Had family over from interstate and thought it would be a great idea to take them. We all enjoyed picking our own strawberries as well as eating them. Absolutely delicious - strawberries are my favourite. They have a fabulous Hot Tomato Chutney which is one item I always make sure I purchase (you can also get a milder one). Love their jams. They are a bit expensive - but it is the whole experience of picking your own strawberries and then looking through their shop. So much to choose from, but all delicious. You can also buy their products in the supermarkets - they are a bit cheaper. Enjoy!

Last weekend we headed up to the local strawberry farm for some strawberry picking, unfortunately it hasn't started yet Nov - Apr. purchased some excellent produce and condiments. Love their jams and the raspberry ice team sauce is the best! Great produce, great range and service.

Glad you enjoyed it. I found it to be very expensive.

We enjoy picking strawberries in the summer season and eating while we pick. The store has plenty of quality produce to be able to purchase and parking is easy and it is located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills

Visiting Hahndorf and the strawberry farm really should be on the list of all South Australian locals and also visitors to the state!
It is a really enjoyable day out and the produce is oh so good :)
We spent an hour and a half wandering the strawberry fields picking (and eating)strawberries. They are delicious and very well priced for the experience.
There are also lots of Beerenberg produce items that you can buy from the shop.
Good Parking and wide paths make it easy to get in and get around.
A great family day out!! (We coupled it with a picnic and play at a playground in Hahndorf)

We were on our way to the Hahndorf farm barn when we got a bit peckish so we pulled into Beerenberg. WOW the strawberries are out of this world and are so big. My girls had a ball walking amongst the patches. It is quite reasonable - $3 (for adults) to pick and $9/kilo + you can taste as you pick! The staff are really friendly. One tip ... make sure your kids don't wear white ....big mistake!

Approximate cost: $9/kilo
