Lisa is a talented cutter. But the price was pretty high for just a cut that took less than 40 minutes in total. My surprise at the $90 charge was because Birdies website specified women's stylecuts with blowdry for between $55-$85. As I have shoulder length, straight thin hair, I thought it would be a simple quick job which it was, and I was still charged above the whole range which I wasn't expecting. Maybe a website update will help new customers like me.

It's the little things that I love about this hairdresser-she comes around to look me in the eye to talk about what kind of cut I want, she remembers me even though I don't go often, she takes time to recommend products that I might want-but only if I ask her first, and she seems to be able to figure out what I'm after when even I don't know (pretty much all the time!). Highly recommended!

I have had Jess do my hair on a couple of occasions now and the results have always exceeded my expectations. She really takes the time to listen to what I want and adapts it to suit me and my needs. Jess is really good at what she does, recently I decided to undergo a major change with my hair with some encouragement from Jess, and I am so happy with the results; it suits me more then I could every imagined. Everyone at the salon is friendly and welcoming, making it a really pleasant experience. I shall definitely be returning and recommending to others!

I've had a few spray tans over the years but I have to say the ones done here are the best. Lisa does a professional job with friendly service. The quality of the product used is excellent and overall it's great value. Would definitely recommend!

Lisa is an amazingly talented hairdresser. I have hard to manage hair and she always makes it look beautiful. She cuts it in a way that even I can get it to look presentable!
The beauticians are also brilliant. Facials are so relaxing you are at risk of falling asleep

I had my wedding hair done by Lisa. She did an amazing job. I was nervous at first as I never had a pre-wedding trial, but she was friendly and really good at what she does, which made the whole experience a good one. Also, she really took the time to blow dry and prep my hair before putting it up, which doesn't usually happen. My hair turned out exactly the way I wanted it :) thanks Lisa!

Absolutely fantastic! Although I came in with a different idea of what I wanted, Jess urged me to try something that would be more suited to my face shape and circumstance. I am absolutely thrilled! Jess was just phenomenal - and she's won many awards for her hairdressing already - and she's only been in the trade 2 1/2years! Thank you so much for such a great experience! :)
