They do a REALLY nice dessert pizza, however the attitude of several of the staff put a bit of a downer on the meal. Normal food is as expected but their vegetarian leaves a bit to be desired. Is a bit pricey for a standard meal.

Cafe Brunelli probably could have room for improvement.

I have dined there once just for a simple coffee and cake catch-up session with a friend. The total price was surprising for two large coffees and two small cakes. I think it was $17 to $20.

Looking around inside the place, there is definitely room for large crowds or even functions. But on the other side of this it can also seem a little dirty. Around the counter and staff areas doesn't seem appealing. I have also had a job interview and coffee-making demonstration at Brunelli's, and the standard of the counter areas and coffee machine area aren't the greatest of work conditions ... which is something I'm personally particular about.

Approximate cost: $20-$25

This restaurant does a brisk trade and their meals, whilst a little dearer than your typical Italian cafe, are in large serves and they offer a huge menu. They also have a wonderful selection of tiny iced cakes (an Italian version of Petit Four?); don't leave without trying one! Brunelli's also has a number of special promotions eg buy a $5 key ring and get $2 coffees and they have a movie/meal deal. Buy any meal any time and get a ticket to Palace/Nova for just $8.

I have dined at Cafe Brunelli four times, each time I was given very rude service when I went to order. I was very disappointed with how I was treated there. The food was average, nothing special but they do have large portions to fill you up. I don't think i will be dining there anymore.

For $5, you can buy a keyring which lets you purchase as many coffees and chocolates and teas off their menu for $2. And this is unlimited and transferrable, so if you take 100 friends, you can all havve $2 beverages!
Not a bad saving since beverages range from $3.20 through $4. So you're saving a bit each time and you can quickly make back your spend on the keyring.
Ooh, and the keyring will give you free parking for 2 hours at the attached car park if you purchase a main meal. Be sure to show your keyring when ordering so they can give you the free parking ticket.

As for the food, it was decent. Tried the schnitzel (beef) which was a bit dry, and the chips a little undercooked, but can't ask for much for $9.90. Still, good snitty for something quick and nasty. The Bella Penne was nice. Little too creamy, but nothing really to complain about otherwise. Was a nice al dente. The lamb souvlaki... big. Lamb was a little dry, but not too bad. The pita was good and the salad was nice. Overall, I'd give it a thumbs up.

Approximate cost: $inexp-mod
