This is by far my favourite place to buy beautiful little sweet treats. Everything is carefully constructed and looks amazing. The flavour matching is unique and always seems to work well, which is an achievement when most of the desserts contain heaps of components. The shop is a delight also, and the staff are always really friendly.
I have been here for a couple of the 'exclusive' dinner events, and these are definitely worth the money. The experience is fantastic.
The creations available change every so often, so there is always something new to try, and there are also chocolates/ice cream and other products to take home.
Check out the website for what they have currently, I don't even have a favourite, I love them all!
This is definitely a shop for a sweet tooth!

Approximate cost: $9-11

We have had this business on our 'To Do' list and really need to visit asap. Sounds amazing! Reeces

Love this store. You get to see Darren making all his sweet desserts and cakes in the back of the store. This place is a treasure in south Yarra. The chocolates, cakes and choc pops are all fresh. Definitely try the mint white choc pistachio persuaders, and the salted caramel spread! They also make bespoke cakes. Expensive but worth every penny :)

I have been here several times now I chose this place to go after seeing Darren purchase on masterchef so my family who were gonna shout me and buy a few individual cakes for my birthday the cakes all looked so beautiful, delicious as well as the icecreams, chocolates and all the other goodies they have on offer.
The cakes they have on offer are incredible there are many elements & layers to them and look and taste heavenl. There is no place to sit though and you can't have coffee here ( I hope this changes sometime soon) They do have dessert evenings every couple of months which consist of several dessert courses, wines
The whole cakes are extremely reasonably priced. Top quality. Check it out for yourself you most likely will not be disappointed

I bit expensive. But definitely worth it.
The products (design concept, shape, colours, art & surface finishing work) are head turning showstoppers.
Regardless of what type of event, B&P will turn out a stunning centre piece/s for the celebration. We ordered some individual serve 'lego' cakes for an event, and not only did they look like large versions of the real thing, they also tasted fantastic. Ie. the golden yellow lego cake was made from mango mousse, vanilla sponge base, mango jelly (for the round joining pieces at the top) and was finished with a coat of yellow chocolate velvet spray. Divine.
Generally, their individual cakes are around $5 and large 25cm cakes $120.
From my experience, I found their creations to be better value than Chez Dre (Sth Melbourne).

What can I say! Seriously, every Melbournian should experience the amazing craft and treats this store has to offer. To me they're essentially works of art where the only guilt lies in devouring them! Amazing creations and truly exceptional tasting too. You must check this out!

After hearing great things of this store, I decided to check it out to see whether it lived up to the Hype, and possibly book our wedding cake through them.
And wow! We spoke with Cath a lovely manager there and she talked us through our options and talked with us about what is visually appealing.
While the cake is not exactly cheap - about double the price of a standard wedding cake - Its totally worth it on taste alone - and is visually amazing.

The products in store are completely mind blowing - the salted caramel is to die for!
(update) Our wedding cakes were amazing - we got so many compliments on them. They tasted amazing and looked even better.

Approximate cost: $Higher end.

After seeing Darren purchese on masterchef I just had to go to his patisserie on my visit to melbourne and boy was I happy. The friendly lady allowed me to taste the salted caramel butter (i think it was called) which was so good and the popcorn and honeycomb crunch. In the end, because i LOVED it so much i left with the 2 bags of the popcorn and honeycomb crunch to share with the family who also enjoyed it immensely.
