Went mid-afternoon on Good Friday to Cargo for afternoon tea; one of the few venues open. It was mildly busy but not slammed & was well staffed. We ordered two hot chocolates & an Earl Grey tea & also a green tea. Disappointingly it took ~30 minutes for the hot drinks to arrive + they used tea-bags. Any quality venue uses leaf tea showing they value flavour, value and product quality ahead of teabag's minor convenience to the venue. If this seems picky;imagine if you ordered a coffee at a cafe would you be happy with instant coffee? Room for improvement Cargo.

Always packed and for good reason. Fast and friendly service, lovely pizza and very yummy salads and small plates. It's a favourite Hobart hangout.

Om nom nom! Can't get over the delicious flavours on top of Cargo's pizzas. The Hoisin Duck is a personal favourite. Great bases too, no soggy bottoms. Their ice cream out the front is also wonderful and still enjoyable in icy winter!

My review is not on the food here as I have been here twice for drinks/night life. I was happy with my time here, the music was great although of course it was busy. Staff didn't smile much, but drink costs were reasonable enough. They had a live DJ and there were some people dancing around the DJ which made it VERY cramped trying to get to the toilets and you were waiting a long time for drinks, although I'm pretty sure this is the usual for the bars along Salamanca.
But a nice vibe, a nice night for a bit of a dance and a drink.

Tasty, healthy pizza. The Angus & Prawn and Hoi Sin duck pizzas are amazing! Expensive at $29.50 p pizza, but great as a special night out. Be prepared for a long wait Fri and Sat nights. I was waiting over 1 hour last week. Thank god for cider on tap!

The food at Cargo Pizza Bar Lounge is very nice and tasty, as how ever their service is not the best, I had to wait over an hour and a half for a pizza after I complain of an hour of waiting, they forget my order and had to wait another half an hour. But I must say, the wait was well worth it

This is a funky pizza bar with nice comfy lounges. In a great location, excellent food and a great atmosphere. They have yummy pizzas, a couple of absolute knock outs too.The Hoisin Duck, Tandoori Chicken and Harissa Lamb are all absolutely fantastic & if you're not too full after pizza you might like to share an apple crumble pizza for dessert or maybe even some gelato

These guys have yummy pizzas and a great wine list that isn't too expensive. The atmosphere and location is great and it's clearly very popular - even on a Tuesday night when we were there! We have been here a couple of times during visits to Hobart and the food seems consistently good and comes out pretty fast. The staff are also very friendly and fun.

Have some slightly odd pizza combinations - apple crumble pizza, octopus salsa - we went for something more traditional, it was quite good, and the gelato for dessert was yummy! Licensed bar as well.

We always have great pizza here. Most recently we had a fantastic garlic prawn pizza which had big 'real' prawns that were clearly very fresh. They also have a good wine list and the prices are pretty good for such a great location.
