Just had lunch there with a pal. Well constructed, simple menu. I had a yummy soup & my guest had well presented scrambled eggs which he gobble down. The food was complemented by personable but unobtrusive FOH (i.e.Wait) staff. Venue has simple but attractive decor;staff always good, a ever-reliable venue for coffee, snacks & more.

Went mid-afternoon on Good Friday to Cargo for afternoon tea; one of the few venues open. It was mildly busy but not slammed & was well staffed. We ordered two hot chocolates & an Earl Grey tea & also a green tea. Disappointingly it took ~30 minutes for the hot drinks to arrive + they used tea-bags. Any quality venue uses leaf tea showing they value flavour, value and product quality ahead of teabag's minor convenience to the venue. If this seems picky;imagine if you ordered a coffee at a cafe would you be happy with instant coffee? Room for improvement Cargo.

Service is consistently good here but the F & V's quality varies so much; not withstanding their bus-side ads claims. A bit more consistency of F & V offerings would be great & should help the owners increase sales and repeat custom... In short well run and located venue but more focus on customers needs would make it a great outlet.

Friendly place for dinner or just a coffee. Attentive waiters with great initiative plus flavoursome food make it a pleasant spot for snack or a meal

Honest DTE folk who take time to discuss your needs and options with you. They have a genuine passion for their work, avoid the 'hard-sell' & offer great, prompt service &repairs. I can't fault them and I'm picky.

Often go there for mid arvo coffe & snax wuth my 9 yo daughter. They always give friendly, personable but not in your face service. Coffee very good, strong but not too strng and nice n hot. Top spot to go for a light snack; kid friendly, simple but attractive decor.
