I am currently in the process of purchasing an apartment through William Winter at Castran Gilbert who has been attentively assisting me throughout the entire process. Me and my husband are renting an apartment in Park Street, South Melbourne. When we were selected to rent this apartment, it felt like we were blessed. Our agent, Melissa Wise, was very accomodating and humble. She made us feel at home and ensured that we were settled at the right time. They have a fast service. We were able to process everything in less than a week.

I recently purchased an apartment through William Winter at Castran Gilbert and felt looked after from start to finish. This was an off-the-plan purchase, so settlement took place 18 months after signing the contract. In the first instance William took a personal approach by informing me of other purchasers in the building with children. Throughout the process William regularly kept me updated with the progress of the development and was always quick to respond to any enquiries I had, with frank open disclosure of what was going on. This professionalism with a personal touch gave me the security that everything was done by the book, as well as keeping me in the loop. For example, when the hoped-for pre-Christmas settlement didn’t take place until February, William was up front about it being in the hands of the titles office and there was nothing anyone could do. After settlement William chased up some emails that I had forgotten about, even though Castran Gilbert had already been paid for a complete job. Good to know the old fashioned honest see what you get real estate agents are still out there. Thanks Will!

We have just rented an apartment through Castran Gilbert and couldn't be happier. Senem and Jamie-Lee have been extremely helpful and prompt in all communication throughout the application process and during this first week of tenancy. I don't know whether to say their service is good or bad. I haven't actually leased through Castran Gilbert however had applied and initially, was optimistic on the whole customer service process. Email and text acknowledgement of application was received, along with notification that we would be kept updated by both methods during the process...as a tenant, this was initially appealing, as though we had encountered the dream real estate agent who at least understood that information, even negative, was important. Unfortunately, that was the last contact received....after that, zip, zilch, nada until we worked out the property was leased out elsewhere on our own and requested confirmation from them. It did make us wonder, how the communication would have been if we had leased the property but guess we will never know.
