Hard to find a good spa for men these days. Sent my partner and his brother for some male pampering. They were extremely happy with their treatments. Anne was so helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this spa for men and women in Melbourne.

I have been receiving my skin care treatment including facial since 2011, and the quality has always been one of the best I've had received from any other spa treatment. Their quality is great, and I must say the value is not a cheap deal; however, its worth the price for getting the best service and quality from a trained profession like Anne.

Great value for money, massage, foot spa and facial was perfect, wonderful tea and great all smiles customer service! Will definitely be back.

Dont let the shopfront deceive you as it is located upstairs a dark, small and so-so looking Japanese restaurant but the spa itself is very clean, bright and smells beautifully. Loved the tea and the lovely Japanese girls were friendly and smiling all the time. The massage very relaxing, so is the facial and foot spa.

I had a massage, facial and pedicure and the therapist was fantastic. I felt so relaxed and pampered. The only reason for deducting a star is that the music from the restaurant below was competing with the relaxing music in the spa, and also from time to time the owner of the spa would come in to the treatment room and make some noise which was somewhat distracting.

I couldn't find the place at first, until I realised it was above the Wabi Sabi cafe. Since it was my first time there, I was asked to fill out a form with details of 'what I hoped to gain from the experience today' and 'my likes/dislikes' for massage. I thought this was fantastic, and they really took on board what I had written in my form. The massage was EXACTLY what I hoped for. My therapist was Se Young and she was amazingly skilled.
The complementary green tea at the start of the massage was actual green tea from Japan and was delicious. You can occasionally hear the noise from the restaurant downstairs, but they have beautiful, relaxing music playing the whole time so you soon forget about the background noise. The room has a tatami floor and is decorated with lots of other authentic Japanese items. At $84 for a 60 minute massage, I'd say it's average as far as cost goes, but I certainly felt that I got my money's worth and immediately booked another massage in a month's time. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to spend time being pampered! You will have the entire place to yourself (unless you go with a friend and want to have a dual treatment) and although it's above a busy Japanese restaurant, it's peaceful and relaxing. Anne is lovely and friendly and the treatments are fantastic. I've had both a massage and a facial here now and thoroughly recommend the experience. The only thing I can fault about the service is that they can be a little difficult to get in touch with at short notice, but that aside, this is a fantastic place with Japanese style tranquility, at reasonable prices.

This place isn't easy to find. It is above Wabi Sabi resturant. Just go up the stairs. Once you arrive the friendly staff greet you. You are then seated on the ground Japanese style where you fill in your details. Once that is completed the beauty therapist will go through your details and ask about you likes and dislikes, what you would like to achieve that day.
I got a massage and facial that day and I felt totally relaxed as the therapist took her time to massage me. The therapist was very good as she knew exactly where me tense spots were and concentrated on those areas. My facial was equally relaxing and my face felt and looked a lot clearer. It was the first time that a facial didn't make me red and look oily. Highly recommended for a relaxing and totally indulgent session. Both Anne and Mayumi as excellent.
