I love coming hear on their market day on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Their are heaps of people, lots of free tastings and beautiful scenery as well. There is an art gallery in their cellar door tasting area.

We went there for a wedding - all of it was amazing and so romantic! Also we were able to spend the night in one of the rooms. It was blissful. Gorgeously decorated, cute, cosy. Breakfast the next morning was not a disappointment either! Highly recommended!

We came here for morning tea one day and they didn't have what we wanted...a cheese platter but the chef said she would do one up for us and it was AMAZING! It did four of us for lunch and cost about $70 but was worth every cent! So impressed at the service! Came here for lunch and had an amazing meal...I enjoyed every bite! Unfortunately the next lunch was a big disappointment...steak was overlooked and the other bits we had weren't great. Hopefully this was a one off but it does make you hesitate to try again. Room is bright and cheerful with great views of course! Staff made me comfortable with my newborn bub and even let me use one of the sitting rooms to feed!

had high tea at eleanors. the room is delightful however we hovered a bit when we first arrived as staff didn't really explain how it all worked, which was a bit uncomfortable. All the cakes and savouries were tasty, the wine delicious and the ambience queenly! Was a lovely afternoon and a nice experience of what high tea is like!

Very pleased with our stay here. Got a deal with wotif- was $500 for 1 night, dinner for 2 at Eleanors and buffet breakfast. Room was spacious, new, clean, large free standing bath and very homey and comfy. Food was excellent for dinner- better than I expected, buffet breakfast much the same- highly recommended!

They do provide you with a very pleasant experience when you have a meal or grand afternoon tea. We have spent some lovely times there. The farmers market they have is great too

Went for a drive to the Yarra Valley and dropped in to this amazing old homestead for morning tea. It is a fabulous old property with open fire, newspapers, great comfortable seating and really well price. We spent only about $15 for two coffees and two pastries and also got a free tour and history lesson from the caretaker. Couldnt believe how few people were there - really undiscovered.

My sister and I took our mother here for cakes and coffee for her birthday. It is absolutely gorgeous! We were seated in the library where it was very private. Sitting in front of the fire place was a real memory whilst enjoying some of the yummiest cakes!

The place has changed alot of the years, as staff have left I do not feel they have found the right people to replace them. It has lost alot of its charm. Yes they do have a chef's hat now but do not feel they will have this come 1 Sept!

We had our wedding reception here in 2005 and were lucky enough to have the new reception room. We could not fault service everyone said it was such a beautiful place. Service was 110%. The food is outstanding the Venue is amazing. It was a little expensive but worth every penny. If you can spend the night and have an amazing stay in a beautiful suite and breakfast in the sweetwater cafe. You won't be disappointed.
