Was recommended to us. Was really disappointed with the 'share' menu as the waiter told us one shared meal (with entree's) would be enough for us both. Sure enough, it was enough but we only got to have one option of meat in this case. Quality of food was second to none though.

By far the best place to eat if you live in or are visiting Hervey Bay. Delicious local and seasonal food in a warm ambiant setting. I love the high ceiling of the dining room ... It has a 5 star balinese vibe. The food is designed to share and has good options for large and small groups. I love trying bits and pieces of everything and of course leaving room for the awesome desserts. The banana split is to die for. Great wine list, lots of beautiful Australian choices too. Staff are friendly and professional. The perfect night out in my book!!!

Coast (at time of writing) offer an unusual menu choice of items that are meant to be shared among the table. This is great when you have a party of say 4 plus but when there are just 2 of you it can be a bit overwhelming. The food is delicious and served in a timely manner. Staff are friendly.

Well another wonderful Restaurant- with the most amazing foods - food is served to perfection- - a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff- reasonably priced- and on the esplanade- so lovely walkways and bikeways close by- easy parking - on the bus route- a wonderful place to celebrate- I was very pleased my family also think it's a place to visit again -

This is a great place to take a group as the menu is designed for dishes to be shared. We had a group of 3 and we ordered two mains and one small side dish and it was plenty of food. The actual food was really good but I wouldn't say it was 5 star. The service was good with a casual, fun vibe. We thought it was pretty good value for money with the bill excluding alcohol being around $90 for the 3 of us. The wine list was good and prices reasonable with by the glass as well as bottles available.

The Coast offer the true fine dining experience in the 'little' town of Hervey Bay. The menu options range from something simple of chicken nuggets (made from scratch and fresh ingredients) to delicately cooked whitings. My favourite is the pan fried gnocchi. No doubt the food including desserts and drinks are extravagant. The menu seems to make slight changes every now and then to add some new dishes and surprises. The menu items are quite costly though. Would strongly recommend going out in a group of a few at least to share all the interesting dishes.
